MDF Will expand and contract relative to humidity. I have found that sealing the cut ends with wood glue on ALL cut ends will prevent this. Great video!!

Holy cow. Am I dreaming? Here is a wood working video that actually teaches something really useful. No smart ass talk. Just a nice guy trying to share really good stuff. No begging for clicks etc. I gave a thumbs up and subscribed instantly. Why can’t the other guys be this good? Half of them act like know it all clowns and never stop promoting themselves or some sponsor. This guy is just what the doctor ordered. Please keep being like you are. Much appreciated!!

I can't tell you how grateful I am to not be blasted with a bombastic Heavy Metal intro or long-winded commentary. Just calm straight-talking with concise instructions. That said...

I'm restoring a gorgeous 1907 Arts & Crafts home in a very remote area and installing 6" stained baseboard moulding in the bedrooms. However, one has a huge 1" gap differential along its 11 foot length. I'm eventually installing shoe moulding over it but they don't make it in 1" quarter round. I think this'll help me get around that. Thnx!

The most disappointing fact is you can do your trim work perfectly like this gentleman and the the painter comes and caulks everything regardless

Did my downstairs a few years back entirely from online vids and proud to have coped all my inside corners. The outer mitres were challenging mainly because walls are rarely perfectly vertical so the angle top to bottom is not always consistent. In any case watched this for curiosity and it is the best video I have seen on it. Not sure I’ll ever need it now but nice job!!

Scribe cuts are great but set up to be noticed . Overlook entire room and choose a level line that eliminates all valleys . Choose your lowest dip making sure the width of material bottoms out in that valley . Then I like to pre level piece and the scribe your line . 20 years as a mason and I do this with stone out of level masonry is horrible and material and installation is far more labor intensive . So I learned over the years through trial and error and much suffering lol . Great video excellent advice and wisdom

I’m a homeowner that has many years of experience with renovations and for years worked part time on remodels. As a retired firefighter paramedic, continuing education was Absolutly imperative to do my job. OMG! Your video is continuing education and I’m so glad I watched several of your videos.
