late 80s and 90s anime just hit different.

50% screaming, 40% random groaning, 10% dialogue. Yea its a 90s anime alright and I love it.

24:53 That look on her face is basically "That's what you get for killing my dog."

I love how these old anime ended. Climax and quick resolution. No drawn out fluff. These days third acts are drawn out to death.

I remember this anime. I rented this OVA from Hollywood Video back in 2000. Just before renting videos became a thing of the past. Good times.

What a shame that they did not even made a mini series of this.
The manga and its follow-up exists since 1991 - almost 35 years ! - and it's still ongoing.

The absolute audacity to make something this good, mind blowing.

"Scrap Iron City is a big place, it may be a long time before I find Gally."
Gally the celebrity bounty hunter? The one that shows up every night at the Factory to collect her bounties? Yeah, it'll be impossible to track her down

Didn’t know Vash the Stampede and Egon Spengler had a love child

@MatthewTheWolf2029 4 years ago

I never quite understood why her name was Gally in this dub when its supposed to be Alita.

90s masterpiece. ❤❤❤
The music, style, emotions.... I remember watching it the first time in 94. 😢🎉

Such am important message in here.

When ido says "It's all a lie." Spending our whole life chasing something and never enjoying where we are, yugo had Gally, he didn't take it....gawd I'm guilty of this.....

That hand art is incredible.
