Dean Sue Wasiolek has spent 51 years at Duke. She came to Duke as a first-generation college student and stayed after graduation, ultimately finding her calling working with students. She served as Associate Vice President for Student Affairs for 40 years.

Centennial Oral Histories
Duke University’s Centennial Oral Histories Program includes one-hour videotaped interviews with former and current leaders of Duke University and Duke Health, during which they share memories of their time at Duke and their hopes for Duke’s future. The videos will be archived in Duke’s Archives as a permanent record and enduring legacy from Duke’s 100th anniversary.
