I second and third the diet comments. I'll also add that you can't supplement your way out of a bad diet. If the food you eat is trash (high in sugar & ultra processed foods, little protein) a hair growth vitamin won't fix everything. Like spraying perfume on garbage. Yeah, I can smell citrus and vanilla, but the dumpster juice is leaking out.😂

I agree with you except for you saying our hair grows in the wrong direction. There is no wrong or right direction of hair to grow, who made those rules? It is the nature of our hair to grow upwards doesnt mean it grows in the wrong direction. It is just the nature simple.

First: why are we trying to comb our hair, even 4C, with a fine toothed comb for straight hair? Really girls. Do you think you can comb your texture into being straight? The answer is no. Sorry. Second: I was on the swim team in high school. (There were more of us black girls than you’d think!!) And looking back at why my hair got really long, is because a lot of the time after swimming I’d use just conditioner in the shower, brush with a wide toothed brush quickly, semi rinse it all out, and call it good. No heat, no blowouts - I did relax for a while - no obsessive combing/brushing throughout the day, and I’d put it up in a bun on the top of my head. I swear to you a sat for a trim one day, pulled the scrunchie off the bun and my hair fell to my boobs. I was shocked!! But I learned that you really don’t have to do anything but keep it clean (everyday), leave in conditioner, and then leave it the hell alone. No harsh gels, no slick backs, no protective styles. My hair was beautiful back then, but like the rest of us, didn’t see it. Love your hair. ❤️

As a black woman i have never been embarrassed about my hair;i wonder why some feel embarrassed 🤷🏾‍♀️...however,the health of our internal system is very important to our hair growth. 100% correct

Hair Acceptance…preach lady! The lie I believed was straight was better. Today, I embrace my curls and coils. I had tailbone length hair as a child and my hair care routine was simple with low manipulation thanks to my mom. It got washed every 2-3 weeks and she used Alberto VO5 every wash day as a pre-poo for years. I use to hate my frizz and how it expanded and now I love my hair with all its textures. Also, like you mentioned in your fabulous video, I listen to my hair and pay attention to my gut health as hair is a reflection of internal health. Thank you for sharing!

This year I have upped my nutrition like crazy and water intake. I take a superfood organic green power supplement twice a day. I live an organically clean whole foods Keto diet with tons of protein. My health intake has never been better. And not only is my hair thriving because of it I feel Amazing. I also workout daily. I have also started doing daily scalp massages and the inversion method to have blood flow to my scalp.👍🏽🤗

my aunties lied to me and caused my hair to fall out then they told me that if my mother or father didn't have long hair, then my hair won't grow. that's why my hair is now longer than there's

ur first point, too much info - exactly why I stopped watching most hair vids. I was in my late teens when "natural hair" was becoming a trend but I've never been a trend follower and didn't even realise what was happening, I was merely looking for other women who had successfully combed out their locs and tips on how to care for my new loose hair. Then came the rabbit holes and my decade-long plateau lool
