when ever I hear this song I start to tear up because of all the memories I have playing this game with my mom

Kingdom Hearts will always be special to me, but it will be different. I have no one attached to the memories of this game. Just me and the game, alone, in my room, crying quietly enough not to be heard over the music. It was my pick me up after a long day of dealing with people, or simply an escape from reality. It still is. I was old enough to hang onto memories when I started playing it, I remember every single thing this game carried me through.  But now I have to hide it, switch on my escape in the wee hours of morning not to be caught, volume all the way down and door locked. There is a reason why I cried in my room. But for this game? All worth it

The thing is this wasn't just a game with great characters and stories. It was apart of our story. A part us all. It may never be a game that gets lots of fans or praise, but it has impacted us more than other games could.

To those 7 people who disliked this lovely song you are just like the heartless 😌

Why does this feel so nostalgic even though I’ve never played a Kingdom Hearts game in my life? Tbh it does feel like it can be a Zelda ost though.

who is listining to this in 2021.If you are, your a legend :)

2002, Gamestop. I was there to pick out a game. Heard the music to Kingdom Hearts after the intro while you're standing on the big glass portrait of a princess in the tutorial. That dark, almost ominous song. I gave the game a glance but went searching for a game. Didn't find much, maybe a used game or two I had thought of buying in the past. So, kind of bored and kind of frustrated, I waltz over to the game I had glanced at moments ago and start messing about. I defeat the giant shadow creature and upon realizing I was smiling so hard that my cheeks hurt. I bought the game. I even remember bending over to pick up the strategy guide, that had the 99 dalmation stickers so you could keep track of which ones you've found already, when the cashier said the guide was 20% off when bought with the game. I miss when games used to invoke this sense of experiencing something new and wonderous.

The game industry is in shambles when it comes to this nowadays I believe. No bravery, no wonder and in a time when player feed back should be looked upon as a possible avenue for redemption. Rarely are our words taken and used to both of our benefit. I suppose we will always have our memories to look back on.

This song will forever and always have a special place in my heart. I have loved kingdom hearts just about my entire life. and if I ever stop loving it, playing kingdom hearts will be the best memories of my childhood. It has helped me through thick and thin and has taught me things my parents never did.

This is how I sleep tbh

Undoubtedly one of the most epic & memorable game music score ever created. And its such a simple tune! Yet orchestrated into a Breathtaking, beautiful & well beloved  game  theme! And i just know  for all its fans world wide me included, while listening to its majestic grandeur, in our souls we all see the same! Its a knowing that we all know!
And it makes our spirit stronger! Uniting us together deep within the well spring of our Hearts, which syncs us all with the same feeling, & establishing us all as one kingdom! Stay strong! Stay good!

This game really holds a place in my heart since me and my mom used to play this game together, now that she's gone. Every time I hear this song, I can't help but tear up, Knowing these memories will not be temporary, but permanent instead, I will always love this game till the end. Love you mom. <3 <3

I remembered my stepdad playing this all the time and whenever he went to pause the game, this song would play and put me in a trance, of course, when my stepdad fell asleep I would sneak into his room and just listen to it till I fall asleep, this melody is utterly beautiful and heavenly it makes me smile and cry as that lost nostalgia fills me with happiness....

Kingdom Hearts was a Game both me and My Cousin loved playing, But Now i cant share memories of KH with her anymore, because shes gone.
