Deck of Theseus.

I get a very strong Vorthos feeling from the monoblack deck being incredibly oppressive, as the color that wants you to play the most of it, promising great rewards for devotion, and then as you realized that what you wanted was a better social environment, not just winning games, black had to be reduced and then cut entirely. Very representative of the color's philosphy and fun little character arc when looked at through that lens.

Incorporating your deck's "veggies" into your main gameplan and running cards with extra utility or modality is so powerful. I worked out that in my Mishra, Eminent One deck, if each piece of draw, ramp, or removal was an individual card, I'd have exactly ONE slot left in the 99 if I just ran those cards and the lands.

When so many of your cards fill so many different roles, it's so easy to have whatever you need at any given moment. This deck runs so smoothly that other decks feel clunky and stunted by comparison. I love it so much.

On the topic of your Radha deck, I ended up building it in paper a couple of months ago minus a couple of cards that I couldn't find around local stores, and I gotta say every single time I've casted Soulfire Eruption it has turned heads and been a blast at the table, incredibly fun and also powerful card

Finding out what makes you happy and then separating it from the rest to build the perfect deck. Love it

Making the success state of a deck "adds its narrative identity to the table" instead of "wins the game" or "flexibly answers threats" helps me enjoy showing up to commander nights. I see that approach in how you enjoy deckbuilding too!

Most games, I would rather know my Rendmaw made a huge flock of birds (funny), or my Zedruu handed people back their own cards under O-rings (insulting, also funny) than look to compete in such an anti-competitive format. That mentality scales up to higher power cards / deck approaches, but keeps the fun the focus.

Speaking as someone who at one point had 8 unique red/green decks (I am now down to a healthy 4 lol), I must say that your Radha deck fascinated me greatly when I first saw it in your videos. The mana ramp package combined with the gruul aggro I love to play and the sunbirds invocation/cascade package just hit all the right spots for me. So probably about half a year ago or so I made a Ruby deck with whatever I had from your deck list at the time plus a few cards to replace what I didn't have. It was super fun to play, but there was always a nagging in the back of my mind that this wasn't my creation and that it was borrowed joy or something like that. Needless to say I was on the lookout for a way to make the deck truly feel like my own, rather than something borrowed.

Enter Kellan, Inquisitive Prodigy//Tail the Suspect. I discovered the card a few weeks ago and have since replaced Ruby with it. The deck uses Monstrous Vortex, Imoti, and the Aftermath version of Kiora to give my high mana value cards (primarily krakens/leviathans/octopuses/serpents) some version of cascade. The removal package is almost exclusively bounce back to hand or versatile counter spell effects that can be "cascaded" into, and the deck has Keruga, the macrosage as a companion as a reliable card draw engine. I was thrilled to take the "counter-point" design I had seen in your deck and shift it into a deck that felt unique and my own. Anyways, all this to say thanks for how you through your videos have given me more to consider in deck building than I use to.

Came here to say that I built an Emperor of Palamecia deck today using your Radha as my basis. Play a dork from the command zone turn two, a 4-drop mana rock turn 3, and then cast big X spells and giant sorceries and enchantments the rest of the game. I'm so excited to play this.

I’ve been doing a ton of research into a battlecruiser type mana dork commander and I was reminded of your Radha deck. I am looking to use Ruby, Daring Tracker as my commander for this deck but I really have learned quite a bit from seeing how this deck is put together. I had the same mindset of “I don’t want to just ramp into Kozilek” and I love the “randomness” of Cascade so I appreciate all the info you’ve given on both channels to help me craft this deck into something that feels fun and fair, but still powerful.

I really associate you with this Radha deck more than any other.

Built three of the decks you talked about on your channel. Sharuun, Xyris, and this one (Radha). I added some of the high-end bombs you mentioned; mostly to better fit the vibe of the shop. It's a favorite of mine I don't get to play much because it gets loaned out to newer players.

Your decks are the main reason I still tolerate commander and haven't given up on the format entirely, so thank you for that.

My favorite deck that I've build has been your Malfegor deck. Been tweaking it for over a year now and have aways enjoyed the feelings that deck gave me

I can't wait for the video in a year going to another color combination with another statement that THIS TIME it is truly done. Not that I wouldn't watch it, it is always fun to listen to someone who clearly are enjoying themselves with their hobby, and Snail yaps in a way that is both cerebral and fun.

Oh man I feel the same way lately about magic. Just removing the tutor and some removal turned my high power deck into a comfort deck while still being the threat on the table. I was having some trouble feeling the lack of cohesive construction or my personal touch, but your advise seems to be good mind set to enter when tweaking it in the future.

Thank you for the video!

I'm currently somewhere between Sheoldred and Glissa on my version of this arc. I too have decided to make a mono black, loosely battlecruiser, turboramp stompy deck. Additionally, I always wanted to make a demon deck from when I first got into magic in high school, and decided to style this deck around the "demons and Phyrexian Obliterator doing f'd up shit" theme. I have started on my third iteration of the same monoblack deck, in which I have now added an obscene amount of card draw, and have looked much more critically at my lower cost creatures in the deck.

It's been one of my favorite experiences in mtg building this deck, getting to learn all these lessons about deck comp and play patterns as I go, and I hope to eventually achieve something very similar to radha, but staying with my demons. Your videos have been, and likely will continue to be, some of the best resources I've found to guide me when I get carried away. Thank you for all you've done to help me and players like me o7

I built my Ashling Rekindled deck inspired by your Radha deck, she ramps me into a four mana rock on turn three and the rest of the deck is "mana value matters" and I love it so far. I really appreciate your perspectives and videos!

I want to like glissa more than I do so deeply. First strike deathtouch is so cooooolll

After running into your Radha video, I built a Ninth Doctor / Susan deck that still focus on 4cmc ramp and up, but uses the Temur dungeon package to get tons of incidental value, with all the 4 and 5cmc 'take the Initative cards'.

The massive ramp adds tons of opportunity to race through the Undercity, and that ends up adding to the cascade feel, giving evolving value and eventually flipping into bombs with the final room.

Having the Initative and Monarchy in game leans even further into the big bad theme the deck brings, daring opponents to figure out ways to come at you. Proxied a Universes Within Ninth Doctor and Susan to preserve the DnD aesthetic.

Absolutely love it - thanks for innovating and sharing the architecture for this type of deck.

First hearing about your Radha deck inspired me to look at ramp commanders as some of the more potent ones. Hell, even following ur template, i made a Red Death deck where i play every variant of Sisay’s Ring. Because of the goad subtheme i named the deck Sisay’s Hypno, and its been real fun

The Radha deck is awesome!
