Going back and watching this Duel, I noticed a misplay that Sartorius made that could have won him the Duel earlier:

Had he waited on summoning "The World", and had "The Chariot" destroy "Dunker", he could have tributed "Dunker" to summon "The World", then when it's effect is used, he'd have one more monster to attack Aster directly with on the next turn.

When I’m playing my Cyberdark deck, I special summon 3 Cyber Dragons or any other level 5 machine monsters that I have in there for Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon in moments when it’s required to devastate my opponent’s life points

Spiritual lord would be the hangman (forgot the number)

Worth noting, if you ever get confused about which Arcana Force monster is which, forgetting either their number because you don't know Tarot or their stats because you don't know this Deck:

With the exception of "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool" (who is, fittingly, 0/0), every Arcana Force monster has stats that equal 100n + 1000, where n is their number. "Arcana Force I - The Magician" has 1100 ATK/DEF, "Arcana Force XXI - The World" has 3100 ATK/DEF, and every other Arcana Force monster has stats in between. IV has 1400, VII has 1700, XII has 2200, XVIII has 2800, etc.

Thus, the missing numbers of the Tarot also have their stats predetermined before they come out- even if we don't know the effects of dedicated Arcana Force monsters for High Priestess, Hermit, Strength, Wheel of Fortune, Death, Star, Tower, Justice, and Judgement, we already know what their STATS will be, which is cool. Worth noting, due to The Tower representing either the beginning or ending of a journey, it'll be one of the ones whose Heads (upright) effect is negative- ending your own journey sounds like it'll end your turn on-Summon.

Funny story about D-Hero Plasma: Back when the archetype first came around, I used to play Morphtronics, and I teched in Plasma due to being easy to use with Celfon. I actually shut down a Lightsworn deck once by summoning all 3 Celfon in one turn, then sacking them off for Plasma, who then proceeded to equip their face-up Wulf to itself. They had nothing to get over it at that point and scooped in annoyance. To add context, this was a guy who always talked down to me at local tournaments, so it was nice to get a solid win against him for once.

11:47 once more THE WORLD

Ayyyy a fellow triple super polly yubel. I even throw in eternal favorite and mature chronicles just in case

In retrospect, Sartorious's duels will be so interesting to analyse as time goes on. Because just knowing he probably canonically has both The Sun and The Hierophant somewhere in there means he had plenty of options to deal with Aster's deck.

Now if only we can get the High Priestess, The Hermit, Strength etc. Maybe next decade tho 😅

28:25 top right corner is The Strength.

I know exactly what you mean when talking about luck in games because in tales of vespria definitive you get patty who is a gambler type character but She is considered one of the best party members in the game because her good effects are better and are more common than the has ones.

Please can you watch tgs anime Yuma vs astral.

Spiritual Lord has, if I'm mistaken, The Hanged Man (which was used against Chazz, but in an offscreen duel) and The Strength (used against Hasselberry, which, I don't believe TGS Anime covered at all) on the artwork. The Magician was used against Jaden, if curious.

For those in the know, The Strength has not been officially created in the TCG format unless its effect got somewhat nerfed (unlike the anime counterpart). HOWEVER...they did release a bit more Arcana Force support in the form of their fusion monster, EX - The Chaos Ruler, XV - The Fiend, V - The Hierophant, and XIX - The Sun, and two spell cards, Light Force and Arcana Spread.

14:33 Sartorius just has a look of WTF Dude

goat TGS anime

"I just like taking my opponents things."

Ahh so you're a Blue/Black player. 🤣

Saiou’s VA being Dio is honestly an amazing loop. The World’s effect is a JoJo reference and the dude was likely cast as Dio because of how he sounded in DM/GX

No that's the magician not the fool

25:36
Hecahands : hold my beer.

It’s actually the magician in the bottom right on the material lord. And it is th hangman in the spiritual lord

When it comes to mind control effects, The MLP CCG weirdly showed me just how much of a degenerate scumbag I can be with those sorts of effects. One of the last decks I built was essentially a deck with a bunch of temporary mind control effects combined with removal cards that were based on getting rid of one of my ponies to get rid of one of theirs. So, I would basically take control of one of their ponies before lobbing said pony at another of their ponies. And if my opponent decided that they just weren't gonna play cards for whatever reason? I had a spell where I could flip cards from the top of their deck until I hit a pony to play to the board, so that I would have a target for my effects. 'Twas fun. Miss that game sometimes.
