Really appreciate you front-loading the critical information into the TL;DW chapter for those of us with limited time to play and research, shows a lot of courtesy to your viewers, I wish more channels did this. Good on you mate.

I love that you “don’t wish to waste your time” never heard a YouTuber say that and it’s mad respect. Loving your content helping me a lot to progress through oblivion. Hadn’t played in years because the graphics compared to modern games drove me mad but I got it free threw cloud gaming and got a shoulder surgery on Monday so that’s how iv been spending my time recently

Giving the summary at the start and not guilt-tripping the viewer into watching the whole video? What a polite channel. Here's a sub

Im at lvl 36, have completely no idea what I'm doing, leveling all my skills to 100. Finding caves or forts, going in and killing everything i believe i did a side mission i honestly don't know, but everytime I play oblivion i always do something new LOVE this game literally doing what I want😅

Love that you said "Start when you feel it makes sense for your character" cause I'm absolutely role-playing and not just going from point A-B 😂

One thing I don't like about Oblivion is how much heavier the higher tier items are. I get it for "balance" reasons but it doesn't really make sense that high tier "light armor" weighs a lot more than low tier heavy armor. Even if they were three times lighter I would still drag my overencumbered butt through the wastes of Oblivion after a loot run 😂
Edit: I remembered wrong. While light armor does get heavier as well it's never "a lot" heavier than the lowest level heavy armor. That said, my point about the armors getting heavier being annoying still stands.

Everyone’s always gushing about you front loading but I actually appreciate the non spoiler content aspect much more

Very helpful and right on point with the Shivering Isles...I walked thru there and just said, "Nope....this seems like it should be later"

One thing I never see any creator saying, is the "Ring of Omnipotence" is leveled. One creator said it only has a =3 to stats, I picked it up at 24 and it was a =10 to stats. Please do a compilation of regular items, that are being claimed improperly.

Criminally underrated channel, I hope the remaster hype has helped your numbers

Haven't started a dlc just for a vid like this. This guy is very informative

The Pilgrimage is repeatable so you can kill after the getting the relics, but if you want to wear/use them you have to do the pilgrimage again. (see: 5:11 under the blue lines)

Love that you front load the basic info before diving into details. So I'm watching the whole video, and commenting for the algorithm.

First time oblivion player.. i ended up in shivering isles at lv23 by coincidence. I also had no idea i was walking into a whole map expansion… i got to high grown after the portal and thought it was a small area. Lol i was confused when npcs were talking about cities i never heard off 😂

@xavierdoesntmatter 1 year ago

My wife doesn't play, so she watches while I play. I've been letting her guide basically everything I do and when. We ended up accidentally finding Shivering Isles and doing the whole thing and not even delivered the pendant... so I'm now level 26, completed the DLC, and still not done the first step of the main quest LOL

Luckily for me I have the mod that lets me level up the leveled items because otherwise some of the stuff I got from Shivering Isles would had ended up kind of junk for me later on.
