Hey yall, just a quick note that someone brought to my attention.

Bridget Collins (author of The Binding) has a history of supporting TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) content on social media, as well as one of her other books being blatantly bigoted, centering around promoting transphobia and containing antisemitic plotlines (I have not read this myself but did some research into it).

Obviously none of that shit is welcome here and wanted to let you all know in case you were thinking of buying any of her books!

The danmei rabbit hole is so real. I picked up a Heaven Official's Blessing volume three years ago mildly interested, and now have two full bookshelves worth of danmei 😂 as an English major I can confidently say Heaven Official's Blessing is my all time favorite book.

describing tgcf with any variation of "it hurts" is diabolical lol

It feels illegal to be this early but I am sat to add to my ever growing tbr

also if you liked the princess and the grilled cheese you might like Nevermore (it is a webtoon). it is inspired by Edger Allan Poe’s story Annabel Lee and its sapphic. It takes place in this school for dead teenagers and the main characters are trying to escape but crazy stuff ensues.

Happy pride month, shout out to

The gays

👍

Ok smt to clarify about the summer hikaru died

Hikaru didn't actually died in the summer, he died in winter

Yoshiki confronted "Hikaru" in the summer, which was 6 months after Hikaru died

It was probably called that because it was summer when Yoshiki finally confirmed that Hikaru died

ALSO HELL YEAH DANMEI RABBIT HOLE IS SO REAL
currently burnt out from reading really long stories rn
But I WILL get back to reading more someday

And Velinxi my beloved😩
Countdown to countdown is peak🙏

It's a really long slowburn BUT I AM WILLING TO WAIT FOR IT

(Btw Velinxi also has another comic called "Daughter of a thousand faces")

Hahahah, You drew me in wirh Hades. It was inevitable.

Heaven Official’s blessing is best of best ❤

saw she who became the sun in the thumbnail and immediately clicked!! I LOVED IT

Okay a couple more if people haven't already recommended them: This is How You Lose The Time War (lesbian enemies to lovers, possibly my favorite book of all time), and Don't Let The Forest In (gay botanical horror). I'm also obsessed with the locked tomb series,  it's so good

They Both Die At The End emotionally DESTROYED ME. When I got it, my dad said something like "but it says what's gonna happen, what's the point if you already know?" & I had the same audacity to look him in the eye like "yea, but I'm optimistic. There's no way it's that blatant".. IT IS. I ugly sobbed on my living room floor for God knows how long after reading that. Part of me wants to let my sister read it bc I think it's a must-read for queer ppl especially, but I also kinda don't wanna do that to her lmao. Still looking around for the prequel & sequel whenever I can find them

Novae mention!!! Immaculate taste, 10/10, no notes, I'm obsessed with Novae and also highly recommend their patreon!

Seeing people rec Cinderella Boy fills my heart up so full I love that webtoon, ALSO THE PERSON WHO RECOMMENDED HEIR’S GAME and the other person who mentioned Check, Please! Oh my GOODNESS.
My queer Webtoon recs:
Zocker by Fiothin, The King in the Sun by Raven and Blue Jay, Time and Time Again by Deo I. and, Our Walk Home by furanc0

I haven’t watched a yap session so good in so long, it’s been so fun to read this comment section and see people reading the same stories as me and each other and it’s just really beautiful to see nowadays. It’s so inviting and fun to see all these people enjoying queer stories and getting to gab about them. Ugh ❤️ thanks for an awesome video!

third comment im making but if you liked the summer hikaru died but wish it were sapphic, Ths Monster Wants To Eat Me is also very good, you should watch it

I would really suggest the webtoon Jackson’s Diary by Paola Batalla. It’s a supernatural story, there’s some queer characters (I won’t spoil who), there’s a lot of really heartfelt moments, and the characters are really interesting especially how some of them develop over the story. It’s currently on hiatus between seasons 3 and 4. It’s definitely my favorite graphic novel-esc story and it’s really fun.

The sequel to She Who Became the Sun is quite the ride

IM NOT FUCKING KIDDING WHEN I SAY I SCREAMED AT THE OP OF MY LUNGS WHEN I SAW IT SAY COUNTDOWN TO COUNTDOWN OH MY FUCKING GAWD I HAVENT EVEN GOTTEN TO THAT PART IN THE VIDEO BUT YOU DAMN WELL IMMA STAY LOCKED IN. IVE BEEN WATCHING UR VIDEOS SINCE TSOA ERA AND STILL HAVENT SUBBED I AM SO SORRY MY FRIEND HAVE A GOOD DAY AND NOW IMMA ACTUALLY WATCH IT 🫡🫡🫡🔥🔥🔥🔥🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾 (also love cemetery boys and the summer hikaru died <3)

I SOBBED!! SOBBED!! At They both die at the end. And I KNEW THEY BOTH DIED AT THE END! And I was still a fool who hoped UGH WHYYYYYYY!! I still haven't read the next books because I swear I'm still crying and think about it constantly.

I love Countdown to Countdown, i reccomend Cinderella Boy too!
