TV Series, John Doe (2002-2003) - Yeah, it was a lot of work, guys. Not only did it take a long time to write the script, but we also had to find the best tools to improve the quality of the source video from the old TV. P.S - I had to cut out a section of the video starting at 06:16 and lasting 21 seconds, where he saw a woman in color because the music used was subject to copyright. I just couldn't mute it out.

They tried to make shows like this and kyle xy a thing but i feel like these genres of sci fi were criminally underrated.

The amount of times the bad guys just turn around and run away and manage to escape is comical.😂

"How can I know you're not the killer?! -Because I'm not! -Ok, checks out"

Lincoln has hair

Wow. I couldn't remember how it ended.   And now, seeing this, I remember it didn't.   Hate when they just flash a revelation or reach a cliffhanger and then cancel the show.  Saddists.

Man I don't think I could have watched the whole series but but enjoyed the amazing recap! Sad that it ended in such a cliffhanger we deserved an answer

I feel like this is a sort of variation on the same theme as ''The Pretender'' from 1996, a sort of reincarnation of a character who appears out of nowhere without an identity yet is endowed with great intellectual ability of the genius level that allows him to pretend to be a surgeon yet does the job like a real surgeon. In the same story arc where the pretender looks for his ''maker'' while solving criminal and scientific problems along the way, this John Doe series, whose first few episodes I watched on TV but failed to catch up with due to my work schedule back then, was a very good show and it stars a very young Dominic Purcell (a few years later he played the villain vampire opposite Wesley Snipes ''Blade'').

I wonder what actually happened to both TV shows, John Doe and The Pretender, becoz I have reason to believe they were axed due to poor ratings? I don't even know the endings to their stories and that's very frustrating. I wish someone could tell me how they ended.

Could they have been ''discontinued'' becoz the world started to notice the MK ULTRA and Remote Viewing references to both shows, that ''someone'' just got a little bit uncomfortable they're being exposed? Oh and BTW, The X Files kept continuing on the same path albeit centering on extraterrestrial activities in connivance with earth authorities, and never got axed for 10 years! So unfair.

Yo! Just found your channel and COME ON MATE! You've picked me up by the hand and took me to a LONG walk down memory lane! I'm so happy! First Kyle XY, now John Doe!! hahaha noice

I absolutely LOVED this show, and was REALLY unhappy when it was cancelled.

I'm 78 and it's a bit fast for me.   But it just seems like a continuous crime scene.

Just the sort of series that I would have enjoyed, but Ive never heard of it.

14:24 "oh no, a scar! I must run away! Ahhhhhh!!!"

Fun to see the actors so young.

john doe
a beautiful series.
the end will make you cry.
It is amazing and you must watch it sequentially to understand it.

If I were that guy I would have gone to the track everyday, bet on sports, and played blackjack and poker at the casino, kept it lowkey, and called it good.

You are awesome for doing whole season.

Great recap!

I loved this show when it originally aired in the early 2000s and of course its a Fox show, it was axed after only one season. It had everything, a mystery organisation, a man with no memory and the hot actress from Chicago Hope. The main actor later became famous with Prison Break, which i never watched, in part because i was still angry they cancelled this series.

This was amazing. Thxs to the curator of this recap
