I understand that the son is upset that his mom isn't "the one" but he needs to accept that his dad isn't dead, meaning she wasn't. Doesn't mean he didn't love her

This show needed another season for John to find the closure he so desperately wanted.

I love the premise of a (mostly) immortal person who has to blend in with society.  The problem is that the character either has to look like he’s aging, or he has to go somewhere else with a new identity - which is becoming harder and harder as technology advances.  Anything requiring a background check won’t go well either.

It’s a fun premise, but it becomes unbelievable pretty quickly.  Anyone who can think of a solution to all of these obstacles, will have a great TV show or movie.

This show was based on the novel FOREVER by Pete Hamill. I read it shortly after it was released in early 2000's, and it was very good.

And with such a busy work life he still find time for painting and doing a few desks

Interesting that as an immortal he can still father children. In most series about immortals they can’t have kids.

It was a pretty good show, too bad it got cancelled.

These are really well connected storylines. They are individual but have really good core thresd that continuously gets reiterated. Softly.
