While this is for the Rocketeer build, it is an excellent example of how to do this job yourself, on any Miata. Sure, it would be easier with a friend, but I got it done, so you can too! This is a soft top from an NB Miata on this 1.6L NA. The only difference is that the rear window is glass, which is a nice improvement!

Man I’m putting on a soft top and it won’t open all the way is it cause it’s freezing outside the material won’t stretch

That dash is not stock for a 92’. That is an NA8 dash since it has airbag and the slanted tombstone.
