If your coming to this vid to replace your top here's some advice, if you have a roll bar take it out. If it's welded in when you take off the plastic panels on the side next to the door make sure you can get all 3 bolts out. I bought my Miata a few weeks ago with a welded roll bar and the roll bar completely blocks one of the bolts next to the door so I had to do it all on the car. It's possible but a bit more challenging. Other than that good luck and enjoy ur miatas.

The reason you struggled with rain rail so much is because it’s supposed to be riveted to the top prior to installing the top/frame back into the car.
