I love that machine especially the thought of having 2 back surgeries sure would make it easier to get started

I just bought all my tufting materials and I’m ready to start my journey! You’ve been such a huge inspiration for me to take this step. Thank you for sharing your work!

Im backing the 70x140 version ion kickstarter. I think this has so much potential. If you understand technology, you know that it is iterative and many fixes and improvements will come as much more people get there hands on it. These reviews are people using the machine for the first handful of times. In reality, once you learn the system and use it more often, you’ll learn tricks and get more efficient. To me, this is a no brainer. This can speed up workflow, output near perfect repeatability and make design execution nearly limitless. I can’t wait for mine.

This is a neat machine! Thanks for sharing and showing the ins and outs

I think it turned out good for 1 strand. I would definitely need to see 2 strands.

I do not even tuft, I just like watching the process, but if this can make it easier for people to engage in the craft, then all the more power to this new tool!

I started with cnc carving, but before I bought the machine I carved a spoon from a block of wood. It took a long time to carve but I gained respect for the difference. Machines aren't bad, they are the progress of technology. Respect for the machines is key. They will give faster results but they will be the death of originality when data gets out. Understanding what is best hand made and what is best machine made is what makes the value difference. My girlfriend cross stitches, I 3D print, laser, CNC carve, but also have hand tools. She has a sewing machine... but we respect what machines do. This would be awesome, but i wouldn't buy one without first knowing what I can do with my arms and hands.

Love to see a more complex design

Cool 😀👍

ONe can really take care of the yarn transport

I'm wondering if the g-code can create true curves or will everything be a series of short straight paths that simulate a curve?
Especially when editing the vectors, you should be able to create true curved lines.

che formato del file..legge la macchina?...dal software Craftphilia Studio?

i would love to try this machine out but god damn its a bit pricy on the kickstarter

This seems awesome but I'm bit torn. If you have to sit there an watch it and go back and fourth between the layers and not have it do it all at once... Seems like a tool for someone who doesn't do tufting... but the price of it is so high for a beginner, it seems redundant to get if you tuft regularly and can do it in much less time.

I can see this machine being helpful
Even if you have to do some touching up .

Respectfully naaaaww not a chance. Cool tech but it’s just glorified embroidery. Can’t imagine trying very complex images. Keep on going CC!

Pretty cool! I think it could be useful to people who just like detailing the work. Or it could be helpful to those who have specific physical disabilities. Great review!

It's cool but I think the lines look too perfect. I like the imperfect look of handmade rugs better.

I have backed this i just wish she would have done double yarn as it looks very thin in places  please do a double yarn before the 15th so I can make my mind up thanks x

Well dang, wish I saw this before the last video!

CNC Tufting already existed at a commerical level, it's interesting to see it come to a hobbyist level. I just hope they don't get all vendor-lock in about it like 3D printers.
