I think this ship is the definition of "it's not much, but it's honest work"

I've always seen the Z-95 as the F-16 of the Star Wars universe where it was just so solidly built and upgradeable that it lasted far beyond it's original intention.

The Z-95 is just one of those ships that are good as the stock model but almost begs to be customized to really make it shine.

It’s so weird how Z95s have mods that add stuff like hyperdrives, 2 extra wings, and other systems but not a dang Astromech socket.

Mando should've gotten one of these. I mean it's literally in the name...Headhunter

The Z-95 was definitely the Honda Civic of the Star Wars galaxy

I was wondering where this video went

I'd say the Z-95 was better than the ARC-170 in certain ways, but worse in others. The Z-95 only required a single pilot to operate as opposed to the ARC-170 needing 3 plus an astromech, but the ARC-170 could do a lot more damage than a Z-95

The Z-95 is such a nice craft, its capabilities and aesthetics are both great. It's a shame that Star Wars never really delves into the concept of identified variant models coexisting the way other sci-fi franchises do. For example, having a planetary defense force using a few squadrons of old clone wars era Headhunters with an elite squadron equipped with the latest model that uses X-Wing components.

I’m glad George Lucas was able to include something similar to the X-Wing in the Prequel Trilogy, as so it can transition naturally into Episode 4

The early version totally reminds me of the Arwing from Starfox.

The Z-95 Headhunter didn't hear no f*cking bell

I appreciate the mention of my Crystal💜
One of the best things about the Z95 is just how severely you can modify it without compromising its base function, great choice for a first ship!

10:30 - I am really glad to see that series mentioned. Some of my favorite Star Wars books.

Honestly, one of my favorites. This is the type of ship we could realistically buy and maintain, and even upgrade and it still being reliable and usable for our entire lifetime.

The z-95 Headhunter is one of my favorite Republic ships in star wars

@shadow9774 1 year ago

I keep saying this, one of the biggest bags the empire dropped was adopting the TIE instead of the Z-95. The Z-95 would be just as cheap in a bulk order, can be modified to fit a lot of mission profiles. It also has a much higher survivability for pilots, meaning less time spent training newer ones, and having a more experienced piloting core, while still having a surplus of parts during the empire's infancy.

Headhunter: blood for the blood god, skulls for the skull throne

The Z-95 Headhunter is one of my favorite Clone Wars era Republic starfighters. It's probably the most versatile fighter the Republic had. It's not my favorite Republic starfighter, that being the ARC-170, but it's still a really cool starfighter that I like a lot.
