For 13 years, Paulie has been too scared to share space with the other cats. He came to us from an abusive home, and he's been a shy, frightened boy ever since — though the last two years have brought the biggest changes we've ever seen in him.

Today, for the first time ever, Paulie stayed in the big new bed when Todd and Henry climbed in with him. They weren't cuddling — but he didn't run. If you know Paulie's story, you know how enormous this is. 💛

Paulie is 15 years old and has been with us for 13 of those years. Todd is our tuxedo cat who talks with recordable communication buttons, and Henry is our Russian Blue.

🔔 Subscribe to follow Paulie's journey — he's still writing it.

Todd is a 9-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 69 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”.
