What is the BEST WAY to learn magic? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss1pUnKu6Jw

I also recommend Tabary's rope routine. He has a two DVD set which teaches his routine among others. It is a modular routine with regular rope and an instant reset. I also love Daryl's Acrobatic Knots. That routine has gotten me a lot of mileage.

Oh....and Cody Fisher's 3 Ropes and a Thousand Laughs is a great Professor's Nightmare routine.

Great topic! I'm really glad you decided to do a video addressing this.

Nothing like Darysl routine in rope magic,Amazing!

Great sources for "Rope Magic" David. Thanks again for a great video. I started out with "Encyclopedia of Rope Magic" when I first got into magic, and later got into Daryl's rope magic, so I can certainly attest that  you selected  two of the best sources out there.

Jay Sankey has an engaging Professor's Nightmare routine with ropes that look like magic wands.

El Ropo at the Magic Castle has inspired to look into rope magic. So this video was just what I needed 🙌

I have used 1/2” three strand NYLON in a parlour situation.
Braided nylon is better, still soft and you don’t have to pay a premium from the magic store.
I think your recommendation is the best idea I have heard.

I would add Ring and Rope which is almost a whole subcategory. I have routines from shoelaces with finger rings up to doughnut sized rings with full sized ropes. Another favorite is Rope-Thru-Neck, where the rope is wrapped around you neck, the ends are tied together, and the rope is pulled through the neck.

I thought I was a great rope magician .... But then I realised I'm a frayed knot ..(sorry David, I can't resist a pun)

LOVEEEEE rope magic. I recommend (slashed)Scott Alexander, Pavel, Daryl, Tabary, Richard sanders (fiber optics duh), George sands.

Great list of resources David. Great recommendation for Daryl😊👍😊😊👍

Another great of rope and rope and ring magic is Aldo Colombini.  Great stuff!

Fiber Optics by Richard Sanders is awesome and very fun to perform. Highly recommend.

Hey, I REALLY love this video. You are really helping people get into rope magic, which is one of my fondest areas of magic. Well done and a great contribution to the magic community!

My girlfriend introduced me to rope magic.

Best video I’ve ever seen even from a book on how to start I must agree on the books and resources I have and have been using them all and are easy to understand and follow

Where is the Bill Ness Miracle Rope trick? Haven't heard of that one. Google doesn't return back much on it.

I support you , your great choices , and your even greater personality and Chanel . EMPHASIS ON GREAT ❤️❤️
