Some fixes, clarifications, and extra info!
Important Edit: 1982, not 1892
(This is a WIP and will continue to be updated)

Yrimir's E-Assassination
• Cheesecraft 789 pointed out a pinned comment Yrimir made on this video a few years ago.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu-jER102Rs

Pre-1.0 Stolen Build
• ThisIsBoring Film Studios, MrMarioOdyssey, and UnshotSpy elaborated on the idea that the original game's files were found and reuploaded before official release.

Terrarium Adventure AX
• I meant 1982, not 1892. My bad LOL

Apotheosis Mode
• Terry Muse (a mod designer of Fargo who also had a hand in Apothesis mode) cleared this up completely!
Here's a very helpful quote: "Apotheosis mode" might also be a reference to my old mod, Apotheosis & Friends, and its difficulty
mode called Akrasia mode. In this mode, Calamity bosses would begin spawning naturally at very high rates after being defeated once.
It also increased all enemy stats after defeating Ascened Chibii Doggo." This makes a lot of sense, given the context of the iceberg.

Zapinator is the best item in the game
• a LOT of people brought up the fact that the Zapinator used to be a developer only item used for debugging the game.
This is 100% true and a very likely alternative.

Vertigo Challenge
• Alex Ander and Nitro2300 have suggested that it relates to a constantly enabled Gravity Globe. I think this is fairly likely!

I have my own thoery: There is a sentient AI in Terraria's code. This AI will read your mind and know what item you are farming for. Once it knows what you are farming for, it will make sure that it takes 5744733828 years to get. It's not an evil AI or anything but I swear whenever you need item it takes forever to get but whenever you don't need an item you get it instantly.

the cube stabbing you is a reference to a line in portal that says “don’t worry, the cube won’t try to stab you.”

"killing the guide means you are strong enough to not need him anymore"

If the Wall of Flesh is truly the Guide then that explains why he's always leaving doors open for mobs to come in

@yotsume6754 5 years ago

And I was always wondering why I‘m getting 1 damage when teleporting with pylons.

Turns out, it was my cube stabbing me in the dark transition screen lmao

@minedrive9109 5 years ago

both Minecraft and terraria actually acknowledge each others exists. both of them have title screen text saying try the other game

"roORGH" is actually a sound file in Terraria that's supposed to be for when you summon a boss. "WRAOWWW" is a sound file implemented into Terraria for a WOF Sound when it's summoned. Both sound files are implemented in the game's code.

Nintendo: deletes a fan game made by red
Also nintendo: puts terraria on 3 different consoles (3DS, Wii u and switch)

@terminalseb8528 5 years ago

Extra fact, the companion cube also makes the moon lord death sound if in lava for an extended amount of time

This meme format is probably the first meme format that actually requires effort and research

@Arcill123 5 years ago

The guide actually says "I like the clothier and the zoologist we have a lot in common" meaning the 3 Npc's has a curse

@gulden4326 5 years ago

Another thing to add about the Guide being the Wall of Flesh is that the Cyborg asks "Have you defeated the wall of [Guide's name] yet?"

@BigIcedCoffee 5 years ago

Red literally said in the Terraria discord:
“Oh yeah the Guide is the WOF, thats canon”

"The Commodore 64 was a Revolutionary 8-bit System, released in 1892."

I bet the "Terraria is a post Chernobyl" thing is referring to how a lot of enemies, like the hornets for example are much bigger and mutated than an actual hornet, and how a lot of enemies are scaled up from how they normally would be.

To me, Yrimir went to the mountains to further train himself and accidentally ascended.

The REAL conspiracy theory is that the traveling merchant leaves before saying he arrived sometimes.
