As a survivor that relives my experience every time a new story pops up, I just want to say I appreciate you guys addressing it. To see men talk, and stick up for what's right, who will stand up to other men, reminds me that there are men that remember we are human and the pain is real and last forever. Just to hear a man acknowledge that means more then you know

I have more respect for these 20 year olds than most men I’ve ever met.

Actually need to hear what you guys have to say rn. So glad you're covering this.

This whole podcast is extremely healing. Thank you guys ❤️

#JAAMTalks I love the rage and passion Matt has for the Cornell 7 shit, that's the passion we all need to have.

This Nolan case with so many people involved around his death and changing testimony points toward a RICO charge implication.

The anger at you saying what you said about Sunny from the view is what I needed to hear. So much. God, so much. My soul is hurting. The child in me that became Jane Doe and have since been Jane Doe a fair few times since is crying in relief that there are men like you in this world.

I'm so glad you ended up in my feed.  I'm a middle aged white lady from western Canada so you're all young enough to be my sons. You give me hope for the future of young men.  Keep doing the hard work.

Thank you guys just for being young men with the faces we need to see saying these types of things.
Bless you ALL. Continue sincerely & continue to be sincere🌹💯🖤

Happy birthday Abee!!!

It was 57 people in that group chat, but they want us to focus on these 7? Why? Who were these 50 other people?

Thank you for acknowledging that survivors are out here reliving our trauma every time because it’s getting shoved in our face. It’s been a rough week and genuinely needed the equivalent of an anger translator (or in this case, 4). Thank you for continuing to do the work ❤

I'll keep saying it, y'all give me hope for the future. I hope more folks find you and listen.

Been listening for a while and YouTube started not recommending videos and unsubscribed me from the channel. But yall keep speaking the truth. Love the podcast.

Thank you for being honest, open, and giving empathy.

Rage baiting and drama content for pay has created a very empty world for generations growing up now. A noted fact as a mom to a preschooler. I worry about the future.

Intersectionality is often ignored, I think, in men circles because society doesn't expect accountability. We're programmed to excuse when it comes to power dynamics. And as a woman, it can feel like battling uphill in the middle of a tornado. I struggled with my little brother. Not sure how well I succeeded but I tried. But I was one outta three sisters. Not great odds. And he was already a survivor by age 5.

I'm on Threads a lot. And it's been heartbreaking to see so many stories Survivors not by choice. One user has been openly talking about how a judge wouldn't let her discuss the rape. For months before Cornell even became known. Because it might hurt the assaulting POS's future. Sadly not uncommon.

It's not new. Revenge of the Nerds had a plot where the nerd ends up assaulting Betty while wearing a duplicate outfit. She doesn't know at first. And that was set on a college campus in the early 80s. You've also got Rocky Horror, Sami Brady's life on Days in general (3 for 3). Heck growing up, I read Swee Valley University...and surprise! And that followed the high series where another lead character was also assaulted.

Contrasting against the rage bait, victims have the chance to name and shame on social media as well. They are taking some power back. Something women have been demonstrating on college campuses for over 30 years. Nothing is new. The justice is how it's served.

Thank you gentlemen

#JAAMTalks Matt and Allen being the highlight of this entire episode. The fact people out here blaming hormones, excusing fraternity culture, etc. AND WEAPONIZED the NOLAN WELLS SITUATION FOR IT BEING A DISTRACTION TO EXCUSE THIS RAPE SITUATION.... JFC THE COMMON SENSE IS LACKINGGGG. SA in men and women is taken so unserious like my god

OMG I love the four of you.  As a women seeing so many men speaking up this time (cuz ya this shit ain't new) it's felt really powerful, important...needed.   I saw a clip of you fellas on twitter and found you here and you made my whole damn day. Onward we all go with the learning.

Thank YOU!!! The way y'all crash out in a real way about the Cornell case -- you get it. Thank you for speaking on it. ❤

#JAAMTalks This episode was definitely a heavy one for me. I've been reading a phenomenal book regarding the entire sphere of hatred against women expressed in different ways, from pickup artists to incels to even domestic terrorists – Men Who Hate Women by Laura Bates is a hard read but amazing for exhaustively looking at the way men who hate women attack them and prey on other young men to maintain that silo of cycling pain, violence, and humiliation. I want everyone to remember that anyone, especially men, do something as simple as respecting people's physical boundaries, sitting with and accepting rejection from people, perceive women and other people as humans just like you, or even do consent checks with their partners will never, and I mean never have to worry about getting false allegations.
