We have lived in the mountains for the last 33 years. Everything you said in your video is completely relevant and accurate! Excellent information for people coming up to altitude. Thank you for sharing!

Most realtors are just out there to do the paperwork. I love your accurate extensive knowledge on all things home related. I am in the construction world specifically septic installation and your brief description of the functionality of a septic system as a whole sounds like you have a pretty good grasp on how they actually funtion. Most people dont have a clue

Selecting the right county is key. We live in unincorporated Boulder county. Tough building requirements but very desirable.

Water rights and a south facing driveway.

#9 NINE! Don’t move to the Colorado rural or mountains and EXPECT all the same urban services. Then foreigners become critical of locals and go on individual or group Crusades to change the status quo BECAUSE you’re so superior and KNOW what’s best for everyone else. Of course I’ve just described Colorado in its entirety, with the influx of Californians over the past 45 years.

We looked at houses in Conifer. I was thinking about fires and got a house in Littleton.

I live at 7,500' Have lots of snow and mitigation videos, Douglas county is sooooo much better then the evergreen and conifer area. We have high speed etc. Something to consider is if your able to purchase enough acres you can get into forrestry program, this saves 75-80% on property taxes. Just got my 24 assessment in the mail...44 acres and property tax for my home and land is 2k. Douglas county foothills cost a fraction of evergreen/conifer. Very informative.

Yet no mentions of aligning your chakras with the magnetic plane & forces of your property. Anything about potential dimensional portals/vortexes on your property? 🙄

LoL, thank you for the informative video!

Check water rights. Just because you own the land, owning the water beneath it isn't automatic.

CCME in Cripple Creek, Colorado is the perfect spot. In the mountains 1 hour from Colorado Springs, 1:45 from Breckenridge, 2 hours from Denver. Roads are POA maintained, gas and water hookups. NO DRILLING A WELL; a well could cost you thousands depends on where the water table lies.
Do it! 1.5 acres for roughly 25k. Back up to thousands of acres of BLM land.
