You're just the perfect guitar teacher

This is the third lesson I’ve watched of yours now and I’ve found them really insightful and engaging. I’ve been rattling around with theory on guitar for over a decade now and have never found these topics more helpful and easy to understand as you make them. You’ve made it brilliantly simple with the explanations and exercises and deserve a ton of credit! 👍 So insightful and enjoyable to watch and listen too. Great job 👍👍👍👍👍

Wheni started gigging regularly i began to notice that my strong shoulder was growing, just from the strap being on that same side.... so i switched it.  I don't care if it looks weird, things have really evened out.... only downside is now the ' normal way' feels awkward.

I clearly understand your teaching how to play the guitar. It boosts my confidence in learning the guitar. Excellent explaining in the lesson.
thanks

Switching between triplets and 16th notes.
24:45 Accenting different parts of subdivisions.
28:00 Drum loops accenting. Muted only, no notes.
32:20 Putting it all together.

Drum track
Rotate between 16th notes and quarter notes and triplets
Move the accent on each
Freestyle drum improv
Improv over all five pentatonic shapes root triads
Random triad progression follow chord tones but keep rhythm creative

So true, I was all about scales and no effort on timing, and my solos sucked. I've gone back and add metronome time to every practice, its mandatory.

Your a great teacher, Thanks for everything

Good job! Rhythm has been lacking in my efforts.

Excellent lesson that would really help beginners of improvisation. Bravo!

Sharpened up my awareness of rhythm and precision. Cheers 😊 I’d previously done inner time feel exercises a few years back. That helped too.

Excellent video

Great 👍👍👍 ty so much. Didn't think about this before

Another very good guitar learning tutorial. Thank you.

Guess I had a good teacher way back when I first began to take playing the guitar and learning music seriously. Rhythm was always number 1. Better to play just a few notes with great timing and groove than to play a lot of notes without any semblance of a solid feel. You still have to learn all notes in every range of the instrument, but always with a good sense of time. Using a metronome is essential... and there are creative and challenging ways to use it!  It's all part of learning how to play in an improvisational nature. Cheers!  (P.S. You may want to include quarter- note triplets or 3 against 2 feel. Thought I heard that around the 29:17 to 29:20 mark or so.) ✌🙂

Great lesson!
Thank you!

That was helpfull. Thanks a lot !!!

Fabian…, you are a wonderful teacher, emphasizing rhythms the way you did and then showing by your playin examples is brilliant !!! Thank you and I will be checking you out mate😳🤣

Good 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
