The writer: let's make this serious
The artist:  let's have some fun
The inker: what the fuuuuuuu...

A “no dogs allowed” sign in a world of anthropomorphic dogs is a level of complexity I’m not ready for in a Sonic comic😑

Holy shit, Knuckles and the rest of the Chaotix meetup feel like a fucking DnD group starting up.

I always assumed that in Bunny’s reflection, she didn’t have her robot parts.

Knuckles: “Sing out, Heroes!”
Chatotix: does the singing ability from heroes!

Love how he's all giggly through the whole video lmao

Fun fact. That brown "hedgehog" isn't a hedgehog, he's a porcupine. His name is Dillan.

'Platypus? Platypi?'
My dumb brain goes to: 'Platypeople?'

"Bad Redwall fanfiction" is the perfect way to describe the Archie books.

Listening to someone my age dunk on a comic that I definitely enjoyed the heck out of as a kid...is so charming.

The dude who says “toot toot sonic warriors” at the end of every vid picks on the guy who once wrote “sing out heroes”

Honestly I'm really nostalgic for the archie Sonic comics and I love them a lot, but the people who wrote them were on acid. Not even probably on acid or maybe on acid, it's definitive. (Ken Penders was on acid AND weed)

I’m gonna be honest, I was so hoping you’d say “Then Espio takes off Vector’s headphone so he can snap back to reality, then oop, there goes Gravity.” XD

Spaz's covers are godlike. They were one of the things that inspired me to get into drawing. And that Super Sonic vs Hyper Knuckles issue (9:14) is probably my favorite from the whole Archie run.

Deep down we all wish we were as passionate about anything as Ken Penders is about his writing.

I can already smell the views on this video

This was my childhood. I once read this at the age of 14 in 2012. I was omitted to a Hospital because I had crippling OCD.
My mom was able to get me out for an hour or two, and we went shopping. I got the graphic novel that had this story, along with that one where Hyper Knuckles and Super Sonic Duke it out.

One of my darkest memories in life had at least this comic to highlight through it. I hope you get the chance to do the other stories done by archie (Hopefully Scourge!)
Keep up the great work man. You're pretty much the best guy out here covering these stories and giving the Sonic Fanbase more positive points.

Oh god do I write like ken Penders

Nah don't feel bad we all have that bad fanfic writer in us
your good 👌

I always found it weird how in these comics Mighty looked in line with the sonic cast while arlo the armadillo looked really realistic.
