They definitely need to make a movie of him

I televised his fight with Daniels at the Seattle Superdome in 1990. Good guy, plenty of grit!

That's rather an extreme way to make the weight .

I knew, he’s long dead, the referee Stanley Berg in this video, real name Fineberg. He lived in my north side neighborhood in Chicago. We would meet at the Chicago Health Club on Ridge Ave. As I remember he had a few fights as a WW. He had great stories. He was born in the late 20’s and was a walking history book of Chicago boxing.

REALLY AMAZING STORY ABOUT DETERMINATION AND GRIT 💪🏾WOW 💪🏾✊🏾💥👍🏾🔥🏆👌🏾💯🧨💣👊🏾👏🏾😎💎🎖️✌🏾🍿🍿🍿🥇🥇🥇🥇R.I.P CHAMP 🏆💣

That Ref in that first fight has to be the worst referree I've ever seen.

I been following the fight game my whole life,,why don't I remember this warrior,,,

Give this man his dues

When you try, your a winner.

I saw him fight. He had a lot of ❤️ ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

much respect to his one leg boxer R.I.P  he is a inspiration. he has inspirated me  thank u sir !!!!

Kerry Von Erich lost his foot in a motorcycle crash and continued wrestling for many years.
For those who do not know:
Kerry nearly landed the role of Ivan Drago in Rocky IV but Dolph Something-or-Other got it at the last minute.

Thanks Rich! Great job on Gator.  Watching all the USA Tuesday Night fights coverage reminded me why I miss those days. They’d often have fighters with unusual back stories. Gastinaugh, Wilber the Vampire Johnson, Richie Melito. I’m glad they gave Craig several tv dates.  I’m sure he was an inspiration to some folks during his career.  He sure gave it everything he had.

I remember reading bout him in SI.

Tremendous inspiration!!

I love this

Another great one Rich, remember his story well. Underdog of all underdogs. Imagine if you could take this grit and fortitude and put it in some other fighters..thinking of Andrew Golota...all the skills but missing something to be the best.

Brilliant, thanks once again Rich. Quality. Amen

Great video as always Rich.
It's an amazing accomplishment to even fight for a world title and go the distance especially against Daniels who has real KO power. Add in the fact he did it on one leg. Simply amazing. RIP Craig

Thanks for a great video
