I love how the villains are always filmed "crooked" and Batman is always filmed straight.

"Holy epic refresh pull, batman!"

They had some good actors playing the villains.

Adam West -- the one true Batman.

One day... around '66 or '67. I was in my front yard in Simi Valley, California... I looked up and there was the Bat-Coptor flying over my neighborhood. I stood there stunned. One of the coolest moments of my life.

They may be drinkers, but they’re people too. Hilarious writing. Still holds up.

I was six years old when Batman came out and I took the TV series deadly serious.

The World needs more safe escapism like this to combat the plague of addiction to feeling infallible. If you reject fallibility, then you reject humanity. Atrocities follow. Infallibility is more deadly than fentanyl. Of course, I could be wrong. 😉

Not only was it an iconic piece of marvellous entertainment for all ages but it inspired comedy writers to do skits on the form: The Christmas episode of the British TV comedy Only Fools and Horses immediately comes to mind where Delboy and Rodney dressed up as Batman and Robin turn up at a wake. Sheer comedy joy.

To me, Batman will always be Adam West hands down! Batman 1966 came out when I was three years old.
But I remember most when I was six years old I would tie a towel around my neck, put a paper mask on my
face over my eyes, and watch the T.V. show everyday when it came on in the late 60's. I loved it then, I love it
to this very day. Not saying the other films, with other actors playing Batman weren't good, but they were NOT
what I remember from my childhood. And that's what's most important to me! It was a VERY different time back
then, we(my generation)only had three networks. We appreciated a lot, for very little. Those days are gone now!

I watched the show during its reruns in the late 1960s and early ’70s, and I absolutely loved it. One Halloween, I’m pretty sure I dressed up as Batman. Such great fun. I live within walking distance of the Bat Cave (Bronson Caves), and every time I visit, it brings Batman to mind.😊

The most fun and loveable tv show I've ever seen. The movie did it justice. I can't recommend them enough if you like campy stuff.

This movie got me in trouble at my great grandmother‘s funeral, I was 25 years old. My uncles reenacted the shark repellent scene, and I busted out laughing. I literally had my own child there and my mom told me to be quiet! Lol

What weighs 6oz, sits in a tree and is very dangerous? A sparrow with a machine gun! Haaaaa 😂😂😂 Holy knock me down with a feather Batman!

Superheroes are only as good as their villains and you can't get much better than The Penguin, The Riddler, Catwoman and The Joker. TY!

I literally thought they were going to die when the torpedo was heading towards them. I thought I was going to witness my first TV death.

My grandson, whom I raised, watched the movie every day and pretend punched the air before he could talk

Really loved this show as a boy growing up in the UK. Along with Thunderbirds it was a big part of my childhood, watching with family or friends and then dressing up and acting out the roles! The Corgi batmobile was great too (it's still somewhere in the attic!)
