Basically : Do not be caveman only hunting for prey and jump whatever moves in your path + prepare next hunt and survey enemy territory (take space + bonus points if sharking), understand that position must be good so u have advantage,

BASICALLY STOP RUNNING ON DEFAULT SETTINGS ALL THE TIME GUYS OCPFBHTJDINVBCU, I can't take another Carbon or 52 blindly charging in before being punished or just trading with like the most useless enemy teammates (as in the least important foe to further or enable a push) and me powerless as a backline witnessing your litteral SUICIDE ATTEMPT for the 7th time in less than 2 MINUTES

Before I took a break from playing Splatoon, I used to play a lot of dapples. Usually Red Dapples, so I'd put beakons in important spots, like the sorts of spots you mentioned. I'd try to make sure there was a beakon somewhere strong near our side of the map, somewhere strong in mid or near the objective, and one beakon in a strong / hidden spot near the enemy. I'd rotate to whichever one seemed the most urgent. Neat to see that sort of playstyle adapted to other weapons. Wish you luck on your Dapples journey. They're some of the most fun weapons in any game I've played.

I've noticed a similar trend when it comes to taking off angles. Sometimes the entire team will look over and even give up their strong hold position just to go after the one guy in Inkblot pit or something. Whether or not the rest of the retaking team takes advantage of that does vary though lmao. In any case though a lot of players very easily fall into a "see player and destroy" mindset regardless of context

This is my first time seeing your videos this was really informative, as someone who plays charger and splattershot i am a bit more aware of taking initiative when fighting and downing an enemy, but i never really had positioning explained, its more just instinct when playing charger.

Thsnks s lot for this info.

ive realised that i had a positioning problem recently and this video summarises exactly what i’ve been missing / what i’ve learnt the hard way for the past few months 😅 when you learn to prioritise positioning over kills you actually get more kills than when you try to go for kills alone… i hope this video blows up so more people who are struggling with this issue can realise it sooner than me

Something that always annoys me is that I don’t really know what to do in neutral (when neither team has an advantage/disadvantage outside of weapon comps which you can’t really control in solo queue) I’ve heard throwing bombs but I feel like that won’t get you far

Loved the video make more 🗣🗣

You're telling me that you need map control, in the game about map control???:!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

how do backlines take space cause i know theres the 3 or 4 snipers perches for different game states but ive had little resistance trying to go there.

woah, new wraith video posted only 29 minutes ago? tasty

This is probably something I should think about more, since whenever I play X especially in zones or tower if the other team gets a lockout I often just lose

what song is this? it's so good
