Crossing my fingers for a Metal Heroes movie collection and Spielban getting announced next.

Yeah I met Joshua Seth at a con in November and he said he came back to redub that movie recently.

Man, seeing how much love Discotek gives to the Toei heroes really makes me wish they could do Super Sentai 😭

Discotek really are the masters of anime audio tricks, this Digimon release reminds me of the Street Fighter 2 animated movie where they had forks in the audio tracks so they could include all the japanese exclusive scenes even in the multiple english dub tracks that didn't have those scenes.

It looks like the new disc is also missing the Isolated Score track that the 4K had.

New Discotek media releases is always a good one.

3:05 Me with the Video Warrior Laserion bluray I got (but the show does make up for it so far)

Digimon Collection 2 is such an exciting release, I'm looking forward to my copy arriving. I was one of the lucky ones that recorded and burned a DVD copy of movies 4 and 6 back when they aired, but getting to have them officially now is so cool.

My biggest release wishlist from Discotek is Juuko B Fighter and B Fighter Kabuto.

Lupin Castle of Cagliostro - First off, ballsy of Discotek to have this redubbed, the interesting thing about this one is that TMS USA didn't pay for it like they did for most of the other dubs after Funimation's Woman Called Fujiko Mine and when the news leaked, it was originally thought that they did because of the movie's 45th Anniversary since TMS had Part 1's dub done during the show's 50th but nope, this turned out to be Discotek's 4th Lupin dub behind the Babylon movie and the Eternal Mermaid & Episode 0 specials. Next up, the lack of 4K is kinda unfortunate but then again, the 4K release was always a mixed bag going back to the Japanese disc because of the applied DNR (though apparently it's not as bad as Mystery of Mamo is in 4K) plus they re-used the 2014 Ghibli master for this new disc like on their old Blu-ray so it looks fine. If they ever go back to the 4K though, I hope they at least film a new extra with the new dub cast (or at least with Tony Oliver for consistency's sake with Bob Bergen & David Hayter's interviews).

Digimon movies 4-6 - I didn't follow Digimon at the time so learning the details on these dubs in particular the past few months had been interesting and then looking at the dub staff when I got my copy 2 weeks ago was pretty insane. When I first read about possible partial redubbing, my first thought was Dragon Ball Z when the orange brick DVDs & movie double features were coming out but looking at the Blu-ray specific staff in that disc myself, there was a lot more than that (and kudos to them for crediting everyone unlike Funimation and their half-assed effort). It'll be interesting to see what's next from them on the movie front if they get to Frontier and onwards.

Discotek really are a "no dub left behind" company and I love them for that. Always happy to have a new one. I recently bought AlltheAnime's release of Lupin the First as my first foray into the franchise.

I don't mind the Frontier music in the dub though it is debatable whether its truly uncut. I heard Joshua Seth had retired from voice acting by the time the original dubs were produced so Studiopolis didn't contact him to reprise Tai. Also, is it me or has Joshua Seth kicked the cobwebs out of his voice because he sounds so much better here than in the movies 1-3 redub? Maybe thats the magic of the audio engineers.

Even if we couldn't get a separate language track for the replaced voice actors, a highlight reel of clips with their lines would've been a great extra.

25:00 Cool!!

It’s great to be getting more metal heroes, fingers crossed for Blue SWAT next. I started watching and collecting the Kamen Rider series from Discotek, but after finding out about Metal Heroes I ended up getting more excited for this series instead. 😅 Kamen Rider releases are still hype though.

I recently pre-ordered the Discotek Blu-ray of Kikaider Reboot, and I'm very excited about it because I quite enjoyed the movie. Haven't seen much esle of Android Kikaider tho.

Ah man my Digimon Movie collection got pushed back 2 weeks, it was supposed to arrive today :(

Can’t complain too much though the Amazon preorder dropped to $19.99 so i got it for an absolute steal

The shout factory digimon stuff needs to be released again in 4k from discotech

i just thought the remastered dubs and redub of those digimon 4-6 movies got the original score by Takanori Arisawa

Thanks for the tip for the Digimon The Movies Collection 2 on Blu-ray! Because I am still waiting for that Blu-ray to come from Amazon because its still taking some time to wait for it.

I'm glad you cleared this up with the Digimon dubs, shame it didn't get the same treatment as the last bluray in terms of music.

my hope is that the movies are a future release bundled together. Like if they get the Space Sheriff 2010 reboot movies (minus the Sentai movies) it will be a trilogy set with Shaider's movie as a bonus. then the other metal heroes movies get bundled togethe, and same for the Showa Riders.
