Nice demo, those Pinnacles are huge. Looks like no need for subs with those in stereo. Centre's are a must for home theater.

I think center placement makes sound more boxy. I would put it directly under TV.

Upgraded to the Evolution Center from my old Ultra Center.   Very little difference,  even after 3 months...

Could i run 3 centers as l r c but 2 of them sideways? I got a huge sub so i want bookshelfs but i feel like the center is a bit better than the bookshelfs right? Id be running a 5.1 with onkyo rz50 then i got a amp for 2 channels also. I just got it lying around so the reciever would only be powers c and 2 rears.

I have a set of SVs Ultra Evolution Bookshelf, Center, and Nanos. I like the detail, but the tweeter is really powerful and forward. It still sounds a bit unpleasant. It's only been two days. I hope you're right, and it will improve and become more pleasant. They already sound very good for home theater. Many music tracks sound incredibly clear and good, but many songs, especially electronic music, sound very bright in the treble.

I have the Klipsch R30C as a center, and it's ok nothing special.
Just bought the SVS ultra evolution bookshelf, will the ultra evo center will make a difference?

I have Polk R700 with the R400 center speaker but I find the R400 a bit hard to understand when watching movies. the L400 would be a better match for the R700 but not available to buy. would the svs ultra evolution center be much better than the R400 being a 3 way and would it blend with the polk R700. what else would be a better option for polk R700

Most people just use their phones with earbuds now. Maybe a tablet if they're lucky.
