Most certainly this engine deserves a high place in the "top 5 sounding engines of all time". So sonorous!

I always watch your videos but rarely comment. I think you deserve enormous praise for the amount of interesting you decide to show on your channel. I don't how you do it but nearly everything seems to really appeal to me. Great work as Always 😊

Long time Porsche and Mercedes owner. Traded a loaded 2020 BMW 540 MSport for a 2020 Ghibli SQ4 for a winter car. Liked the Ghibli so much I purchased a 2012 Granturismo MC Sport Line.

Sold one Porsche, selling a Mercedes absolutely loving my Maseratis.

The Maserati's are expensive to maintain and maintenance is critical. You need to keep the cars on battery tenders, just like many Porsches, especially if you drive infrequently.

The Granturismo MC build quality is very good. I replaced my infotainment and climate control thru Maserati Mods. Car has the Urutu X-pipe resonator delete. Can't drive it without smiling.

The Ghibli build quality is similar to the BMW I traded. The Napa leather and wood veneer in Ghibli are nice. The Ghibli SQ4 is a blast to drive, especially in snow with its rear wheel bias AWD.

Maserati is such a sleeper brand. I blame Doug and all the BS click bait videos lamenting about shared parts and improperly maintained vehicles. My Porsches and Mercedes fail often, cost a fortune, aren't as fun to drive. I'm loving both my Maseratis and driving my 911 a lot less.

who cares how fast it goes- it looks fast, sounds fast and feels fast :D

Just look at it….its Monica Bellucci on four  wheels… I had a Prestine 2013 Granturismo sport , loved it , sold it and have regretted it ever since ( even though it cost me a small fortune to maintain) and for the last two years I’ve been  diddering around as to whether to by another . Your wonderful video has made my mind up  ….as of this moment I’m trawling through the internet for my next purchase.
The thing is there really is nothing like an owning or driving Maserati , flawed yes , but so isn’t every car .
Thanks Jack for all your brilliantly informative videos I’ve enjoyed everyone since the channels conception.
Very best regards.

Thanks for another review of a car I am sure many of us would like to own. You get the most interesting cares for review.

Maserati GranCabrio is class nobleness, elegance personified. Styling design is timeless and has aged very well.

Loved your  phrase, “exquisitely, trimmed financial disaster”!

What Maserati had was an engine that sounds like God clearing his throat.
What they have now is an engine that just sounds like an engine.

Respect to the Maserati Club for sharing this beautiful car with us. 🚘

I understand people compare it to some BMW models, but to me this is a Maserati. It does not really compare to anything else.

i would take this over a BMW. but i have always loved the style of maserati

"Exquisitely trimmed financial disaster" My new favorite phrase!!!

I agree it looks good from every angle, you cannot say that about many cars. Four proper seats and a lovely sounding engine, glorious! Thanks Jack for another great review. 👍👍

I'd say the 4200 GT was fantastic Maserati. I owned one in 2004 or so, loved it.

"Even slowing down sounds expensive". Sounds like a prophecy for many brands.

I've owned multiple Porsche's, including three 911 Turbos. Nothing has ever put a smile on my face like my 2017 GT coupe. Every drive is a sensory overload event that puts a smile on my face from ear to ear. I've owned mine for six years now and have had zero issues with it. I've now sold two of my Porsches (one 911 Turbo) since purchasing the Maserati because I never found myself choosing them over that glorious sounding 4.7 V8. These are absolutely fantastic cars! Thanks for letting people in on the best kept secret in the enthusiast car market with this video.

No sticky fingers on screens - just lots of sticky buttons!! Haha. Coming from a Grancabrio owner.

As an owner for the last two years of a beautiful Grigio Alfieri with burgundy soft top I am super happy with this car.  86000 km. on the clock.
Totally reliable and no issues❤

What a beautiful car
