I really like that you involve the entire family. Everyone plays a role and contributes to the process. Not only are they helping with the task at hand, they are also learning and they have a stake and pride in the outcome. I really love that. Great job.

Here are a couple of tips/short cuts you might like to try. Don't throw away the tomato skins or feed them to the animals. Freeze dry, then powder in a high power blender. Use in diy mixes or in place of tomato juice (with water) in cooking. A time saver is to cut tomatoes in half and cook in a pot for about 10 minutes (remove only really only big cores.) Pulverize all in a high powered blender. Sauce is thick and has all the nutrients from the skins. Seeds, skins and cores disappear and sauce is thick like you'd cooked it all day. This method bypasses the blanching, peeling and cutting. Also, frozen tomatoes can be run under warm water to make the peels come off perfectly.

It’s a healthy mindset to think of growing food for your animals as well as for yourself. It’s never a waste to feed your unused or unwanted food to your animals, which includes the worms and microorganisms in the compost pile.

My grandma always said, "If it comes from the ground, start it in cold water. If it comes from the air start it in boiling water." (Speaking of where you are harvesting from.) So, most root crops should come to a boil with the water and most of the rest are better when the water is already boiling. Old wisdom 🙃

Me and my daddy always say that no food is wasted as long as somebody eats it, even if that someone is the dog. Or in your case, the farm animals.

I have to bet as the days start to get shorter and eventually cooler it has to be a wonderful cozy feeling to see your pantry fill up. My favorite part of living in a place with a good balance of all the seasons is the transition from one to the next.

Also it was so sweet to see your son playing with the corn.

I grew up on a farm like that. My dad grew everything. I don’t have a garden today because of that. It’s a big, big job canning.

When you cook with the beans you may want to consider cooking them for at least 20 to 30 minutes before adding the veggies and pre cooked meat. It doesn’t have to cook as long. The meat doesn’t get gummy. The veggies aren’t over cooked.

Love watching your videos I was just watching your 200 pound harvest in three days and I’ve learned an easy method for blanching tomato skins off. I use a wire mesh basket that you usually hang in your kitchen for fruit and vegetables put a S hook on it fill the wire mesh basket up drop it in the boiling water you could hook it to the side, the hook or hold onto it bring the whole basket up at one time drop it in your cold water remove the basket, finishing a whole bushel in a matter of minutes. I also had another idea when your children are helping with the green beans is to give them kitchen scissors to top off the beans. I usually do a handful at a time. They can also be cut into pieces at the same time. have a good day.

You can put corn in the deep freeze, leaving the shucks on it, then get it out of the deep freeze and put it into the microwave and microwave for 3 to 4 minutes and you will have the best tasting corn ever
