Haul the boat out for winter and within the first 15 minutes you are hit with a £96 pressure wash for 10 minutes work using sea water and half a litre of fuel. £340 to haul and move it and £50 to chock it up on the hard standing. You then decide to sell it as its too expensive to keep and because its moored at the marina, you get to pay them a percentage of the sale price even though they are not involved in any way with the sale of your boat! Its like selling your car while having paid a high premium for parking, then giving up a percentage of the sale price to the car park owners for selling it while in your paid for parking space!
