3 Disturbing Anime You Have Never Heard Of

Not Cringe

If I asked you, “what is the most disturbing anime you’ve ever seen?” What would you say? Some of you might say Made in Abyss or Perfect Blue. Some of you who know more about underground anime might say Blood C or Elfen Lied. But all of these anime listed have already been covered countless times on YouTube. And I'm sure many of you are looking deeper for something truly creepy and trust me you are in the right place. A while back I made a video where I had to venture into the depths of my anime list to come up with how long it would take to watch every anime ever and while scrolling for hours I came across dozens of weird, cursed, and disturbing shows deep within this website. And that led me to finding 3 disturbing anime 99% of you have not seen.

Hearing Elfen Lied be called underground is definitely the moment when I felt my old crippling age 💀

King's Game is basically "We have Higurashi at home".

Ngl, The King's Game sounds like an interesting idea on paper. But, it was extremely poorly executed.

"Even though it only has one review, and that review is negative."
I'm hooked.

Fun fact -

The same person behind Hell: Two Lives also created Train To Busan.

If an angel told me I was going to heaven, personally, I'd sleep peacefully every night and relax.

Not knowing seems scary imo.

Kings game is just Euphoria without the smut

@HelloQro 2 months ago

Bro, 8/10 for king’s game is wild, the anime is so bad, if they had at least gone with it being a curse rather than a virus it would jump to 4/10 at best

The rotoscoping animation in that Korean short film is really cool and unique

I feel like most ppl would probably say Boku no Pico is the worst anime they can name

Studio Seven, that logo looks familiar, I wonder what they —

22:38 That's nirvana. Nirvana isn't a place like heaven, it means you basically cease to exist which you want since in Buddhism life is pain and if you don't make it to nirvana you get reincarnated which means more pain.

King's Game was so bad but intriguing, that I checked out the prequel to see if everything makes more sense. It wasn't worth it

Rotoscoping is the game changer for animated horror media. It is so labor-intensive. But it looks just... incredible and haunting.

shiki can also get pretty disturbing to some at times especially near the end lol
