I know this isn’t really the main topic of your videos, but your content helped me feel confident enough to go ahead and buy a Goldwing. Since it’s a 30-year-old motorcycle, I was a little intimidated by the maintenance, especially with all those fairings!

I watched all your videos about GL1500 maintenance, and thanks to your explanations and visuals, everything seems much easier and more approachable.

I finally found a 1997 Goldwing GL1500 SE, and I’ll be taking delivery of it on October 14th!

A big thank you for all your informative GL1500 maintenance videos. They really helped me feel more confident about my purchase. I’ll definitely keep following your channel, as you seem to cover some very interesting topics.

I’m not sure if you still own the GL1500 you had five years ago, but I have to say, it looks fantastic with all its custom decorations!

You need to develop your maker's mark and stamp it on the tools you create; not necessarily for yourself, but for whomever has those tools in their toolboxes in future generations. As always, the chuck keys going back into their holders never fails to give me a chuckle. Thanks for another great video!

We made things like that at school, for crafts and arts , out of scrap and it tough us skills in metalwork class, thats just brought back some great memories, and what a fabulous and life time bit of kit to make. Really enjoyed that ☺️

Well done Del, I usually make a one off from a tube , pipe or drilled stock and taper from the outside. I usually make it as needed as I do this less frequently than you. Howdy! That's a fine tool you made there! But the real star of the show was the magic show, complete with sound effects, with the chuck keys! The big square drive key ones filled me with wonder and amazement, but the Jacobs key "difficulties" made me giggle like a little girl! Very well done!!

Love your videos, eminently practical and clear. Not sure why you drilled a 5mm hole when you need a 7mm bore. With the larger hole you only have to turn/grind the outside when you sharpen it and you have a constant sized 7mm bore

On the subject of re-sharpening.
As the tool will now be 'hard', you will probably struggle with a drill bit.
Maybe a better idea, would be to use one of those 'bullet shaped' grinding stones, that you always find in 'Dremel-ish' sets.
You know the ones I mean, the pink ones that seem to have no use for anything!
