Some fictional ships are so enormous that calling them “ships” almost feels wrong.
They aren't just vessels — they're floating military bases, luxury liners, survival shelters, schools, cities… and in some cases, entire worlds.
In this video, we're counting down **15 of the biggest ships ever seen in fiction**, from the Titanic and USS Missouri to gigantic warships, floating cities, and vessels stretching for **several kilometers**.
You'll see massive ships from **Titanic, Battleship, Deep Rising, G.I. Joe, Resident Evil, Poseidon, Marvel, Gears of War, 2012, One Piece, Girls und Panzer**, and more.
And the scale gets absolutely ridiculous.
We'll go from ships measuring a few hundred meters to the *7.6-kilometer Ōarai Girls' Academy School Ship* — a vessel so enormous that it contains residential areas, businesses, roads, schools, green spaces, industrial infrastructure, and thousands of people.
And there's an even bigger vessel waiting in the honorable mention…
The **Pravda Girls' High School Ship**, reportedly measuring an incredible **13.8 kilometers**.
From giant ocean liners to kilometer-long floating civilizations, this countdown explores how fictional creators kept pushing the concept of a “ship” further and further.
*Which massive fictional ship surprised you the most?*
