Sharpe: *Begins a new life as metalworker*
Now that's soldering.

Well, upon first spotting the video I hit play, that’s my style sir.

Sharpe was so badass he even managed to survive being played by Sean Bean.

Kudos for including "thats soldiering".

“What makes a good soldier?,Sharpe?”
“The ability to fire 3 rounds a minute in any weather, sir.”

Now that's soldiering

Be prepared for a deluge of comments that include some variation of the phrases "that's my style, sir" and "now that's soldiering", maybe even a few "the ability to fire 3 shots per minute in any weather" thrown in there, too.

One of the great disappointments of Sharpe was that the Baker rifles came with sword bayonets but the props department didn't

It's hard to take Johnny seriously when the cat seems, by his look, to be so thouroughly contempuous of the subject.

The Baker rifle was also used by the Portuguese Caçadores (Hunters) which fought along the Rifles in the Light Division in the Peninsular War until the invasion of France. Like the Rifles they also had a primitive camouflage uniform which was brown, better suited for dryer weather.

Having a cat sat next to you during the intro? Now that's soldiering.

Disgraceful that YouTube hid this from me for a full minute

MAJOR LENNOX ANSWERED WITH HIS LIFE!

The Sharpe fans have come out of the woodwork in force.

Johnny's jihad against false copyright takedown is truly eternal. Godspeed.

Wellington's outburst for Simmerson shamelessly laying the blame on Lennox is one of the best moments of television I've ever seen

Fun fact: These rifles were removed from service after several confused soldiers had fatal bread making accidents

“Sleeping on new uploads is a shooting charge, if I catch ya again I’ll do it myself!”

Doing the meme?

That's soldiering.

Soldiers are dirty. Rifles are clean, Sir.....
Awsome series.
