I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you adress the big problem of everyone thinking corsets were torture devices. Corsets with ridiculously Thin waists was a trend back then Among the Rich. The working Women couldn't possibly wear an extremely tight corset while working.

I'd love to see more videos on the different types of goth and was thinking about doing the topic myself on my goth blog. Something branching from that topic would be the discussion of the differences between goth and alternative but for now I've scrapped the idea as idk what to do with it for now lol. I'd love to see discussions of things like this tho.

I also manage a large goth community full of resources and videos like this are very helpful and are often shared there. As someone who's super into their interests and ocd as I am, I like to categorize and explain the different parts and aspects of things such as the various goth types. I find depth details and discussions of it very interesting and helpful.

I‘m just getting started with goth as I went on a journey of self discovery. And trying out goth fashion I felt more happy than ever. So I did some research and found your channel. I love your videos and start to get a sense for what goth really means. It’s more than fashion, it’s about how you live your life. And so far I felt quite comfortable with everything. But still I am at the very beginning and maybe you could make a video where you explain how you found to goth.

I appreciate the really good overall video on the Victorian Goth style for men & women. Normally my styles are Trad, Victorian - Edwardian, Industrial, Pagan & Corporate because of my work. Victorian Goth and Romantic are my favorite styles. I have some of these and would like to start dressing that way all the time. I haven’t been happy with my current style for many years. It just isn’t me. It’s still Gothic but far from who I see myself as. Great thoughts on this subject 😊💜🦇💜

Remenbering that everytime you attach white color to an all-in-black gothic attire it is a sign of irony because white is associated with purity. Thus white "spots" on a black attire garment means hipocrisy, and this is a way trend in victorian times and nowadays.
P.S.: For men, a bowler hat is a way better choice to go with in modern days because they were the "baby" version of the top hat.
