The fun fact about the sanation left tree that you took is that it's technically impossible to do in 1939 start date, as Walery Sławek killed himself a few months before.

30 minutes in hell in just 29.6 minutes!?
That’s nearly 61 seconds per minute

Germany after planning an easy “special military operation” that will definitely only take a couple days

Oh my god poor Spain got absolutely murdered in that peace deal. At least the Germans are unified under a Polish boot.

As a guy born and raised in Katowice I absolutely love the placement of your defence lol

Engineers provide a constant defense bonus in forts. They also provide an entrenchment bonus on top of that. Upgrading engineers increases the entrenchment bonus and adds additional attack and defense bonuses in forts (II), rivers (III) and urban environments (IV).
Engineers also increase division defense and soft attack, but not as much as an infantry battalion.
If you plan to use forts, engineers is NO.1. priority.

Am I going crazy or does this guy's accent fluctuate between American and British at random?

i can't believe in that epiciest comeback. you just holded one town for years and after you just pushed. good job

Brother completely forgot about the “Plan West” part of the focus tree, which gives huge defence bonuses, free forts, units, anti air, and so on

Suggested challenge. Mod is "Alone against the world". 1936 start, pick any major (or minor if you're brave, but it's doubtful they could win), ~2 weeks in an event fires and you can merge the whole world but yourself under 1 banner. (For democratic and communist it swaps all the nations to the type and merges them in an alliance, if fascist it merges everything into Germany and gives them cores). The enemy in either case also gets all divisions that the nations had, as well as their fleets.

Then about a month in an even will fire giving you the option to start the war Now, 1 year, or 3 years. In my experience for Germany, US, or Britain runs... best to do the war ASAP rather than wait. But it's up to you.

Goal of the challenge... Survive, or win. I'm doing it myself. Had a couple runs as Germany that got decently wrecked, but have been doing "alright" as USA.

“You could never know what it's like
Your blood, like winter, freezes just like ice
And there's a cold, lonely light that shines from you
You'll wind up like the wreck you hide behind that mask you use
And did you think this fool could never win?
Well, look at me, I'm a-comin' back again
I got a taste of love in a simple way
And if you need to know while I'm still standin', you just fade away

Don't you know, I'm still standin' better than I ever did?
Lookin' like a true survivor, feelin' like a little kid
And I'm still standin' after all this time”

fun fact, had that issue with models being glitched and not showing, which is a DirectX9 problem apparently. switching to DirectX11 does fix the issue
