How many different ways can someone use a stick? Today's game attempts to answer that question.

Dear god, I feel like I'm criticising a Dali painting here, but watching the gameplay it feels like I'm standing on my head... wtf. Completely confusing yet brilliantly creative, while looking incredible. @~@ Thanks and congrats on the upcoming #100 Brian!

I feel the same way. Every time I load this game, I want to properly enjoy it, but it gets frustrating very quickly, nullifying the presentation. It's not even an age thing, I felt the same way when it was released. I didn't share the enthusiasm of the gaming press. It's certainly not up there with The Lost Vikings, or even Krusty's Fun House, as far as puzzle games go.

It’s a very well designed game. I remember it to be a tricky one, and I can’t recall ever finish it completely. However, Core were one of my favourite game designers on the Amiga. Right up there with Bitmap, Cinemaware, Team17, Bullfrog and Digital illusions.

This re:review was spot on! I feel exactly the same. I really want to love this game, sadly I do not either. 😞 Thank you for the wonderful video.

One of the more inventive platformers of the day.

I really liked this game back in the day. I loved the first level, but I don't think I ever got past the second level back then. I probably didn't invest the time trying to work out what to do. I loved the atmosphere and quirkiness of the first level.

I agree it's the kind of the game that looks excellent plays excellent and then you don't want to play it anymore, lol.
It needed a better progression system, maybe with some more action and fewer puzzles or more spread out.

I love Bubba´n Stix first Level. Its awesome.

I hate the rest of the game xD

I owned this game (on A1200), and every so often I would load it up, love the first level for being quirky and funny, and then hit level 2, have no idea what I was supposed to be doing bar opening the doors, but having absolutely no clue how to do so.

Presentation is wonderful, but the obscurity of the second level is just a terrible experience, and it just nullifies the experience.

1st level is super fun but it needs at least a couple more levels between 1-2 keeping the fun upfront and the difficulty ramping slower. Art and animation is fantastic, sound/music is great (fits the vibe) seeing as so many games are being remade maybe a Bubba 'N' Stix redux???

It looks great, it has some good ideas. It's just such a shame that the second level is so tedious. Not sure I progressed past it. One of the few Amiga games I owned that I didn't complete. Getting only a handful of games a year, it was always disappointing when one was a bit of a dud. It could have been much better.
