I'm not a huge Post fan. I don't like a lot of his vocal production, but Beyonce made that man SING on this album.

In my humble opinion, CowboyCarter is superior to Renaissance. And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Renaissance, however melodically speaking and in terms of musical complexity, this record is way more accomplished, you have Country, R&B, Hip-Hop, Opera, Pop, Rock, Dance, Trap. It’s a whole musical experience.

I literally started crying as soon as she sang "Ameriican Requiem". This album touched me so deeply and it kinda hit me out of nowhere. What an unbelievable body of work. Beyoncé SLAYED that!!!

She’s topped herself yet again. All her influences (prince, MJ, Tina, etc) would be so proud

That intro is some country Bohemian Rhapsody and Im here for it

That ‘Tyrant’ hook goes so hard yo. That track is in Beyonce’s wheelhouse. And y’all are correct ‘Tyrant’ could so be the big song of the summer cause that hook is straight fire.

Fun fact about the horse of the album cover is a Lipizzan horse, that breed of horse are born black but as they mature they turn white. It’s super symbolic to the history of country music. Also, Linda Martell who is apart of two tracks was first commercially successful black female artist in the country music field, Linda Martell. Her song "Color Him Father" was the highest-charting country single by a black female artist on the US Country chart for 55 years. Unfortunately, she only had the chance to make one album before being blackballed from country music

Sweet * Honey * Buckin is basically the Pure/Honey of this album 😂

Jolene is Becky's mother

Levii's Jeans is like butter running down a warm biscuit. This album is PHENOMENAL top to bottom. 🙌🏿

If "Renaissance" felt like a trip to clubs and house music, "Cowboy Carter" feels like the essence nature, peace and serenity.

“reminds me of that RAYE song” is so funny because RAYE is literally the person that wrote “RIIVERDANCE” 😭

@isabellalima5788 2 years ago

fun fact: she used a sample from a Brazilian funk music on Spaghettii! A genre that is completely different from country, but here in Brazil it means a lot to black people 🙏

she never disappoints. we are actually so lucky to be alive at the same time as her. i am witnessing and listening to history. she is one of, if not the, best female artist of all time

Ya Ya is my fav song from the album cause it’s Beyoncé doing a James brown impression making a Rolling Stones song with a beach boys interpolation over a trap beat with a these boots are made for walking sample

I'm not sure if someone commented...but the end of the album gets more "dance" because ''Renaissance'' was Act II, but post pandemic she wanted to get everyone dancing and out. So, from ''Desert Eagle'' to ''SWEET🌟HONEY🌟BUCKIN''' the album gets more 'dancey' to transition into ''Renaissance''.

Cowboy Carter sounds and feels so peaceful and nostalgic for me. It’s reminiscent of America, BeeGees, The Beatles, Simon&Garfunkel, Queen, Prince etc (the vibes of some songs at least) which my parents used to play every weekend 💕 I’ve always wondered what soundtrack I could play to my future kids which would give them such nostalgic feelings and would remind them of me. This is it! Also, I totally agree that this album scratches an itch I’ve had for a while. This is the sound I was looking for from Beyoncé for the longest time. Tens across the board, Mother!

if i'm being completely honest, i've never been a beyonce STAN. some things from her i love others i can do without. but THIS. this is a masterpiece. most incredible thing she has ever created. i'm so obsessed. such a unique and fun listening experience. grammys aren't everything but i don't understand how any artist is creating something better than this right now
