I rode my Monkey 125 up the Nishi-Azuma Sky Valley from the Yamagata Prefecture side and saw the autumn foliage at Shirabu Pass, located on the border with Fukushima Prefecture. Descending into Fukushima Prefecture, the scenery of Ura-Bandai, dyed in autumn colors, and Lake Hibara were incredibly beautiful. Further down the mountain, I reached the golden-hued Koibito-zaka (Lover's Hill). I was deeply moved by the scenery that can only be seen in autumn.
