First of all, thank you for the shoutout but secondly, you hit the nail on the head about the so-called “community”. Unless something impacts them directly, then there’s nothing to see here and they just want to go back to their little world of “positivity”.

I knew him personally.  Lived in the same town for a time, been to his house, met his mum, etc.  This makes me completely ill and am still horrified by all this.  He disappeared.  I thought he died... This news is actually worse than what I feared.   There are some sins that can't be forgiven... and this is one.  Thanks for posting this.

As a victim (survivor) myself. Michael thank you for making this video. And shining the light on those who are evil

The moment I hear someone got caught in a sting for child harming is the minute I distance myself from anyone and everyone who wants to hang out with them. That's a big NOPE and Just fierceness NO!

"I try not to judge" - is a phrase I am so sick of hearing in the communities i'm part of. Blatantly terrible people, getting a pass because "they're fun to hang with"

Just hearing Retro say "this guy's a piece of sh*t." made my day. Perfect delivery.  😂

"The truth hurts, but silence kills." - Mark Twain

This is why I appreciate this channel so much. Honesty and integrity.

I’m not really a collector or big into toys but I enjoy your passion and research and analysis of things.

I appreciate your integrity Michael. Keep being you. I’ve been unsubscribing a lot lately to content creators who beg for donations and use their fan base as a peanut gallery.

Imagine warning someone that their food's been poisoned and they get mad at YOU and say "I wish you wouldn't have told me that so I could enjoy my food."
Now imagine if someone else came in and the last guy told him "Hey, don't ask what's in the food, just eat it and be happy you don't know."
The truth is ALWAYS worth knowing, especially when it hurts.

More people need to be told this.  We've allowed for a lot of infantilization in our society by allowing others to ignore everything bad in favour of just wanting a good time.

I’m not a toy collector. I’ve never heard of this person. I’m glad.

This is the main reason I stepped back from my toy show. I’m only doing it part time now. I was shocked at how people acted….both vendors and buyers.
Love the channel Michael!

All well put, this dude in a whole other level of bad guy - I miss the days of quiet collecting and enjoyment with close friends - great video well thought out

On an unrelated (and more innocent) note, did anyone else have that Gobot command centre and used to pretend it was an AT-AT when playing, as they didn't have an actual AT-AT?

Frankly, if anyone's going "Don't read the article"...

I won't say they aren't child predators themselves, but supporting a thief that harms children... It really does make you think what they're capable of or what wrongdoings they might have in their closets. Because frankly, I feel supporters of these kinds of people are either genuinely unaware, do know, but are white knighting for whatever reason (be it because said person "Can't do wrong" or "for honour"). Or are fully knowing and supporting, but make their arguments so blatantly stupid that you just know they themselves are no better either online or in real life.

And frankly, those defending this guy, I'm convinced they aren't good people themselves.

Judgment isn't only criticism--it is also approval. When they refuse to judge him as bad, they effectively judge him as good and worthwhile. So they are still judging.

I cannot help but notice a pattern. Some Toy Collector gets mad at RetroBlasting for some dumb reason, then the Toy Collector gets exposed as a total PoS.

Keep up the great work Michael. RetroBlasting is one of the few channels on YouTube I respect.

Our society is failing our children.
This isn't just a toy community problem. The apathy and in some cases running cover for this kind of behavior is sickening.

He is back online and making new videos on his channel. I never thought he would have the nerves to comeback
