Perfect timing, I've just made a cup of proper strong Yorkshire tea!

Playmobil really wants Michael to play

Welcome back. Hello from Australia. First channel I found when I rekindled my childhood joy for little plastic people. Always appreciate your honesty, knowledge and humour. One of the best 👌

That pyramid is flipping awesome!

I just bought a load of CED disks to display in my library (by which I mean the room in my house that I've been calling The Library for the past four years despite it having exactly zero shelves).
I am finally getting the shelving built and plan to frame the CEDs in double sided frames (glass front and back) and mount them to the shelf uprights on hinges, so I can see both sides and I can open them to reveal the dvds/blurays behind.
Such a cool looking format...

Some fantastic pieces... love that Making of Raiders disc

Welcome back. Thanks for the video and can't wait for more.

And just like that he went from looking like Short round to looking like Indy with a change of a hat.

I completely agree with you about appreciating the playmobil aesthetic, on a side note, dime novel legends and their western theme sets are a match made in heaven.

That Playmobil set is the stuff I dreamed about as an 80's kid!

Hype!! Welcome back Michael!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Great video, you have created a lot of good will from collectors over the years by remaining consistent and authentic. Have a great 2026!

Welcome back Michael, you’ve comeback with a bang awsome stuff that Pyramid & Sphinx huge 😮

That is a genuinely cool play set. Let us know as you source the rest of the parts. I'd love to see a walk through of it in its complete form. And welcome back!

What an amazing playset!!!
It would look great even as a backdrop for Indiana Jones figures.
Looking forward to more new Retroblasting content!

Welcome back! I can’t wait to hear about the adventure you had in Egypt.
This video is making me nostalgic for the  Egypt-themed toys I used to own, like the STARGATE movie line and the Mummy set from McFarlane Toys’ Monsters series.
P.S. I’m pretty sure my parents kept the half-dozen or so CEDs we ended up with, and they’re in storage somewhere. And, yes, one of them is RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

Hope you had a great trip Michael! Can’t wait to hear about it!

That picture of you on the camel is great!

Cannot wait to see how your adventures in Egypt went. My family lived in Lagos in the mid-90s and my Mom wanted to go see Egypt and then the restaurant bombings started. That is a bucket list place for me at some point too. Cheers!

Awesome unboxing video, Sir Michael and it was wonderful to see your enthusiasm on screen as you opened up some very generous and rare gifts! With all the new items, I'd love to see an updated tour!

Egypt has always been on my list of destinations. My Grandparents went with my Great-grandpatents to Israel then to Egypt for 2 weeks when I was just a small kid and they came back transformed! They described it as beautiful all the way around and I've been wanting to take the plunge ever since. Any suggestions are highly appreciated! I must say, I was happy to see you in the pics from your Egyptian adventure, decked out in your awesome Indy gear!
