Hi Irene. Missing your restoration videos, although I'm sure you and Gary are super busy renovating your new house. Hope to see you back on YouTube soon. Best wishes from the UK.

No one can really appreciate the work that takes so much research. Using the correct types of glue for example.  I have done restoration for over 50 yrs. What I did was child’s play compared to the work of Irene. She is truly a master.

Irene please come back 😢😢😢😢

You are one of the few restorers that actually cares about the old methods used to create the object in the first place.

I always imagine you like you are a fairy from another world that came here to bring to the history back the colours. Special Irene thank you..!!! I wish one day I can use my passions as a profession too 😊😊✨💎

My mother threw away my grandmothers childhood doll after she died because the arms and legs came off, (they were attached by string) it was a beautiful doll from around the 1910’s that had a very sad story about why it was given to her. I wish you were there to save it!

My mother, she is gone now, she collected and also made dolls.  NOTHING like this.  This was wonderful watching.  She made porcelain dolls.  I remember she made 2 at one time.  One was of me and the other my sister.  And she matched our hair styles and our eye color and these dresses that she had made us for some occasion.  I remember mine was this blue velvet.  The face of the doll, looked just like me!  It was incredible, the work she did.  I wish I knew where my doll was.  I would love to see it again, all I have are my memories of it.
You did a wonderful job restoring this beautiful doll.  I just love your work.  Thank you for your content.

Your smile...  When you look at her after putting on her hair, is BEAUTIFUL!

Something about the way you call her “the baby” just absolutely melts my heart, it’s such a warm thing to call her.

I love the idea of there being no music background! Hearing the sounds of the brush strokes,  the little simple sounds makes the video more intriguing. I love it

I do enjoy and deeply miss these videos on this channel. Please upload them once again. You’re missed.

My mother would have absolutely loved this programme - as I do.

Whenever I see you complete a doll, I always think about the little girl who these dolls belonged to. How happy they must have been to be able to have such a pretty doll. Imagine your parents being wealthy enough to buy you such a pretty gift.

She is not a craftswoman but a master.

Still watching 2 years later. I honestly miss the videos. I wish you'd make them again 😢

Where are you😢 We missed you so much

I just have to wonder why you don’t have a million subscribers?  No one will give the fascination and beauty of restorations of this caliber.  Your love for your art is visible in your hands and your face. Thank you for sharing this talent with us.  I can’t wait to watch more. ✌🏻🤍🤞

July 2025. Are you OK Irene? I sure miss your videos and seeing you.

I love mentally going into that room with you as you painstakingly recreate and repair.  it's like a different world!

Just an FYI for anyone who's curious: this dates from around the 1890's.

I'm not sure why but every conservationist channel I come across never gives the date of the pieces they're working on you're lucky to get any info at all 🫤 Wish they would.

Side note i'm really lucky to have a photograph of my great grandma from the early 1900's when she was a little girl and in the picture she's holding a doll that looks a lot like this one- don't know what kind of doll it is and sadly it's been lost to time but I wish I had it would've cherished the hell out of that thing ❤️😂😊
