One year ago, I started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in France despite my fear of injury, my limited French, and my complete lack of experience.
Through bruises, setbacks, language barriers, and countless moments of frustration, I slowly learned how to be a beginner, how to keep showing up, and how to build a community in a new country.
The biggest thing BJJ changed was not my body, but the way I see failure, strength, and myself.
If you’re also learning how to build a life somewhere new, I hope this video helps you feel a little less alone.
Thank you for watching 🤍
