“Wars shouldn’t be glorified” wise words

@calicoasting 1 year ago

The whole arm wrestling world owes Devon's grandma a huge thanks 😂

“War is a messy thing… not to be glorified…” That showed the depth of this man’s character. Absolutely amazing!!

@Ollieguy2024 1 year ago

I damn near cried when Devon said "war isn't really something that should be glorified ". That's a man that's been through it, and doesn't want his kids or anyone else's kids to go through it.

Man, when you asked Devon about his time spent in the CAF, Devon got a look on his face that I've never seen before. You can see the effect war has had on him. Thank you for your service Mr.Larratt.

He's so humble that every single compliment he gets he turns it into a reason to gas up someone else 😭

Brian Shaw casually calling up Devon mid conversation was awesome haha

"War is a messy, messy thing. Not to be glorified too much." Huge respect to Devon for this. Can't blame him for not wanting to talk about what he's done. Thank you for your service Mr. Larratt!

I’ve spent years chasing answers in documentaries, podcasts, even ancient texts—and none of it hit me the way The Obscured Principles book by Dorian Caine did. It’s like it was written for the few who are ready to break the illusion and remember who they really are.

You can tell Devon's a good dad because he's happy to sit back and let his kids talk and teach a sport he is master of. Love to see it

He wasn’t just Canadian special forces, he was in JTF2. One of the most elite units in the world. The guy is an absolute badass.

Magnus is basically a journalist who happens to be an athlete. He’s interested in learning so many things, and naturally brings out so much information from the pros.

Complete respect to Devon. The way he handled Magnus's question about war was really honest, real an sensitive. A brute of an arm wrestler and seems like a genuinely good person.

This guy is a protector. You can feel it. Nothing toxic, pure love.

Surviving through special ops, rising multiple kids + staying with the same wife, elevating arm wrestling sport and becoming one of the best arm wrestler in the world, the guy is a legend for what he acutally went through.

I was at Altitude Climbing Gym in Ottawa when Magnus and Devon showed up there. They both took the time to chat with my son and I. Very nice guys! Very down to earth and generous with their time.
