RIP My favorite local racer Monte Mccoy 👊🏻

Also raced my first motocross at Sunshine in 1982. I bought a leftover new 1981 CR250r. Honda’s first water cooled bike. I holeshot and promptly fell exiting the turn, ran over by half the field. Pretty tough introduction to the best sport I’ve ever participated in.

These vids are the best!  Hannah, Captain Cobalt, Tony D, Broc, Danny , Sugar Bear etc etc!  Love  that these guys raced every chance they could.  Florida and Cali

This is golden footage.  Well done.

#14 Billy Grossi one of my favorite riders. Good seeing some video of him and the rest of these guys. Lovin the videos !

Man thanks so ,u h for posting this. Love seeing the old stuff.

Awesome... pushing it to the limit! Nothing like riding a screaming 2 stroke DB...dang this is the best vintage racing video! Thanks for sharing this!!

Wow! Amazing! Thanks so much for putting this out here.

1972  to 1986 was a special awesome time in the progress of motocross!👍🏼💯 WFO

Love the video

Good stuff 🇺🇸👏

A great reminder what it was like.

Nice!@

I still have my tee shirt from those races...the winter am was great

How they raced with the bars rolled back like that is anyone’s guess lol

Did anyone familiar with this series ever go or race in Palm Valley in between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Pat Ray owned the land and track. His son Bubba raced. I saw Bob Hannah, Jimmy Ellis, Mark Barnett, local kid Alan Lucy race there.I went in either 76 or 77, not sure.

My wrists hurt watching Glovers forks collapse on that drop-off!?

At 6:40 it looks like Bob got his foot/ankle caught under his foot peg. Great video!

I think Dave Neugent was there # 666 NJ

This is sunshine speedway ? I raced my first motocross race there in the woods class in 1975 on  a 1974 Yamaha MX 250 that I purchased from cycle springs Yamaha
