A buddy of mine had a pair of boot similar to those at 48:54, laces all the way up.  He called them his "Half hour boots".  :)

Well, here is a couple of races I have not seen before from the old days.  Glad NBC did not cover them.  Those will be lost forever.

The thumbnail you're using for this video is from a different race, a different series. Why? I love most of your videos, but click bait?

Yes, now it's all gone I used to  race my 56 Chevy over there all the time. H e l t e r.    S k e l t e r Running 1101's  Street car quarter mile And R a c e my honda c r five hundred motocross Now it's all gone.
They did not care about the thousands and thousands of people who used to go there T o  the Grand Prix motocross every year. And race there every weekend. All they cared about is making money. It's gone forever, just memories. Oh, they did make a standing platform for you to stand over where the track used to be and look Over And can go oh, it used to be T h e r e yeah f. U

Cagiva for the win.

Chamberlain removes his googles to throw up at the end of moto2 🤣
