From a young comedian with an unusual idea to the creator of Ali G, Borat and Bruno, Sacha Baron Cohen built some of the most controversial and influential comedy characters ever created. His unique blend of satire, political humor, social experiments and fearless undercover interviews revolutionized modern comedy and inspired an entire generation of comedians.
In this video, we explore the complete story of Sacha Baron Cohen: how Ali G became a cultural phenomenon, how Borat shocked the world, why politicians feared his interviews, and how his work repeatedly exposed prejudice, hypocrisy and corruption. We also look at his encounters with Donald Trump, the political controversy surrounding his projects, and why he decided to make Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (Borat 2) during one of the most polarized periods in modern American history.
