Awesome. Didn’t do this year but one of my favourite events. You did a great job of capturing the local vibe, hills and scenery of the event 👌.

Thanks for filming. I did this as my first half marathon so it's a lovely reminder of the route. It is brutal, especially the downhills.

I need to do this one year. I did Big Dipper a couple of years back, that was brutal and the stats are very similar. I'm not too bad on the uphills, but I need to practice the downs. Good effort! 💪

Great video. I grew up at the farm at roughly 8 miles in. Although I’ve ran a few half marathons, I’ve always bypassed the Eyam one for them hills.
Leam Lane 9 miles must be brutal at that stage. 👍🏻

Eyam is ridiculously hilly. I wouldn't even attempt that race! 😂

Eyam sounds brutal but also looks beautiful! Am looking for a new challenge and you actually really looked like you were enjoying yourself (despite the hills), so you convinced me…Just signed up for 2026….eeek!
I’ve only just discovered your channel so could I ask - what’s your usual a half marathon time? Trying to gauge what’s realistic to aim for with it being so hilly…(ie how much slower should I expect to be?)
