I live in Camden. It's a large borough,  we have Hampstead Heath, British Museum, British Library, Regents Park...there's more to Camden than the market.

The homeless aren't the problem it's the people who made them homeless are the problem.

I'm a wheelchair-bound. I've been 6-7 times robbed of my cheap phone in London...

Britain doesn’t have a trash problem, get it right, certain people in Britain just throw litter on the streets, out car windows, wherever…. And yes, immigrants do it A LOT….

If you were to turn the sound off and not see the landmark buildings, you'd never guess this was in Europe, let alone England.

No dude, that’s Reeves Corner — that funny-looking roundabout in Croydon you’re talking about. You're showing your age! Don’t you remember? That’s where the Reeves Furniture Store stood — a family-run business over 140 years old — before it was burned down during the London riots in 2011.

I lived in Brixton London for 5 years in the early 90s and even then it had a bad reputation but i never had any trouble im very good at avoiding it and im from Liverpool so consider myself street wise

I lived in London for 5 years, moved out and now I don't even want to travel to London for a day trip.

I remember years ago a visiting Briton scolding us Americans at a campus party for having "bad" areas of our city.  "We don't have that in the U.K."  Yep, it was only us Americans.  The U.K. and Europe are sure showing us the way.

Croydon was meant to get a Westfields shopping complex which would have really brought up the area but the plans were cancelled multiple times. In the meantime a lot of shops in and out of the shopping centres were closed down or moved in preparation for development but still 10 years later Croydon looks derelict.  I live in Croydon  right now but originally from Balham.  Croydon isn’t the most friendliest place in my opinion and isn’t somewhere I aim to live at much longer.

@33:00 Croydon, that fenced off plot with random trees in giant concrete containers used to be Reeves furniture store a 144 year old family company, it was deliberately set on fire in the 2011 riots, the original store can still be seen in the 2009 google street views, the arson and lawlessness was captured on camera at the time, and is still on YouTube, there were no fire engines seen attending initially as the fire brigade were stretched dealing with so many other incidents, I had assumed it had been rebuilt but from your visit we see it never was.

I lived in Bermondsey Street, and I loved it. It was poor in the 1950s and then had a period of rejuvenation during the 1990s. We has Southwark Cathedral, London Bridge.

Rubble outside a house is actually a good sign, it usually means renovations are underway! I used to live in Shadwell, and it was an awesome place. We'd go for morning runs along Wapping and spend our evenings in the student pubs around Whitechapel, walking distance to the city. It is such a fun, diverse area with loads going on. Setting property prices aside (we were renting a two-bedroom flat for £2k a month before COVID) it was a fantastic place to live, especially for young people.

Hi I was brought up on the iOD in the 50, 60 and 70’s I got a very very good education , I do not remember any crime on there, the Kray twins and that sort of crime was in Stratford. I had a wonderful childhood, it is very very sad ❤

Been living in Tower Hamlets for five years around Roman road council flats and I never had a single problem day or night.

06:37 “You’re not gonna bother them, they’re not gonna bother you!” Spot on! 😊

Thank you for bringing us up to date about London life today.

We have had a security guard at the McDonald's and the cab offices in Romford for about 25/30  years tbh. I live in Greenwich now and absolutely love it. It's a great part of London.
