Siim Honestly, it depends on what you're looking for. Phuket has way more to do, better healthcare, and easier international travel, but it's also more expensive and packed with tourists. Dumaguete is much quieter, cheaper, and has a really laidback vibe with a friendly expat community. If you like nightlife and lots of options, Phuket is probably the better choice. If you want a slower, more affordable lifestyle, I'd pick Dumaguete. Both have great weather, but Dumaguete feels a lot more relaxed overall. You really can't go wrong... it just comes down to your priorities. phucket seems to have my heart and my soul is in in the phillipines!

Hey man I turn 31 next week, I'm half dutch half thai and I grew up in Manila. Everything has pros and cons. In Philippines everyone spoke English so I became fluent in English. I think both are fun. Definitely Thailand is a little bit more developed. I think to grow up, from 6-18 Manila was better, but I think Thailand offers an even easier life pre and post those ages. But to learn Thai? I missed on that opportunity. Thai kids are screwed, just kidding, if you speak it you can live in Thailand easily. :P I would love a Filipina mother, Philippines so kind.

It's foolish of you to ask her this question when she's not going to want to admit the Philippines sucks in comparison to Thailand when she is a Filipina. The only thing the Philippines has on Thailand is it is a bit cooler weather and some isolated beaches, but those beaches are often difficult to access and usually the hotels and amenities at these locations suck - you pay more for lower quality.  Otherwise, everything else in Thailand is superior...better: food, accomodations, infrastructure, hospitals, safety, cleanliness. If you are honest and think critically there's really no comparison.

beautiful view, drove the motorbike there almost 2-3 hours with some stops allong the way., That skybar has the absolute best view and the spaghetti bolognese is surpisingly amazing!

In the Philippines, their airport workers will plant a bullet in your luggage, detain you, and demand that you pay them large sums of money or they will send you to prison.

I agree  with you. After living there for 2 years I needed   a sanity trip to Australia  for a while to recuperate.

With Thailands population at 71.5 million and Philippines 112.7 million Unfortunately it's down to one thing Government Corruption.... Philippines government don't use the money that Comes in each year towards it's  infrastructure, and economy they use just a fraction and it's all designed to keep it's people suppressed and poor ...for an Asian paradise made up of 7,641 island's It's now Asia's biggest polluter of the Pacific Ocean all down to a Corrupted government. Sad really as the Filipino's are a warm and kind people even in hardship and dispear they keep a positive attitude in self happiness and a warm smile....Hopefully in time when it's government isn't selling everything under their feet to the wealthy Chinese will the Philippines become a lavish and prosperous country....... great upload guy's keep it lit 🫶💪🧸👍
